Saturday at the Lakeside means it's the men's semi-finals and the women's final. For the first time since 2014, we have a guaranteed new name on the men's trophy.
Our first semi-final has two men at completely different stages of their careers with young Danny Noppert against senior Darryl Fitton. Noppie has unarguably been the best player in the tournament and fought off a Scott Waites challenge last night to make his first BDO semifinal on debut. Dazzler meanwhile has not averaged over 90 in the entire week, but has still hit a 170 out despite requiring a 9th set to defeat Geert de Vos. This evening's match sees number 1 seed Glen Durrant against Wolfie killer Jamie Hughes. Duzza wasn't really troubled by Lithuania's Darius Labanauskas last night while the unbelievably dense Yozza fought back from 3-1 down to put out three time champion Martin Adams.
Preceding the men's semis is a complete walkover as two time women's champion Lisa Ashton will become a three time champion against Australia's Corrine Hammond in their final. Hammond hit her highest average in last night's semifinal against Russia's Anastasia Dobromyslova of 72. When you realise Ashton hasn't dipped below 80 this week, this will be a convincing win for the Lancashire Rose.
Coverage starts at 2:00pm on Channel 4 before switching to BT Sport 2 at 6:45pm.
All matches are best of 11 sets except the women's final (best of 5 sets... at last!). Women's matches are in greentext.
Today's matches (2:00pm - 6:30pm) >Corrine Hammond (8) v Lisa Ashton (2) Darryl Fitton (10) v Danny Noppert (3)
Tonight's match (6:45pm - 9:45pm) Glen Durrant (1) v Jamie Hughes (4)

Remember, everyone thought the pregnant Russian would beat Australian waifu, and she didn't. Don't write her off just because Lisa Ashton is better on paper in every way. Anyone can win this.

The bracket was completely wrong as well.

In fact it was Anastasia's first two results on the graphic for some reason.
