Se7en

never read a book in me life

Watchmen movie > Watchmen comic

This is objectively true.

Great movie. Didn't even know it was a book

Se7en was a book?

>reading fiction

The beach ends way better than the book imo.

This really. Not huge on Snyder but his version works well for a cinema format and runs like an alt history piece with Superheroes at the forefront.

...

You are probably memeing but a literature can achieve what cinema cannot sometimes (in terms of narration mostly) and vice versa.

The Thing (1982).

All Kubrick and Tarkovsky

Is reading well-written comic books hard for you guys?

this lel

>well-written comic
oxymoron.

Maybe there is just one pleb samefagging (You)

I can't read

reading with their voices and imagining the soundtrack in your head is harder than it sounds.

American Psycho.

Nah i really enjoy the comic for the self aware juxtaposition of super hero allegories but it doesn't appeal to me since I already know the formula. Watchmen is a great story for telling non comic book readers why heroes are instead of what they are. This in no way makes it bad

You can always youtube the soundtrack as you read, but maybe that is harder than it sounds, too.

pure kino 2bh

...

>entirely missing the whole point of the comic book, trying to interpret it as some capeshit-type gereric formula

Kubrick is awesome! The Shining is my favorite horror movie.

No one cares

He didn't say that.

>pretending to defend someone who is actually (You)

oh cool now the reverse
>too deep for you, evangellion of comic books

So what do we do now? Which one of us tells the other to kill themselves?

>it's literally impossible for more than 1 people to disagree with me
You're really making your side look bad.

>evangelion of comic books
Just a good comic book, and a bad movie

>there are sides

>existing during this space and time in a corporeal form

check mate guy

>inventing some word combination checkmates anything

Don't know if it counts since the book came after the movie lol

No

No

Was that scene suppose to help validate your point? Cus it didn't.

Not really, it would've been better as a mini series. There are lots of smaller moments and sub plots that get left behind.

kys

I agree

The movie is the book, just with 80's pop music and no giant squid.
