You will notice that the first repeated line is only a prepositional phrase, and have identical line break formatting irrespective of the previous line in the paragraph.
It is, at the very least, an actual depiction of a typo. Whether the typo was included intentionally by Kubrick for some thematic/symbolic purpose or merely an accident that he and spielberg and his editors failed to notice throughout the entirety of production is the only thing in question.

There are paradoxical jewish references everywhere. Everybody has a christmas tree and wishes each other a merry christmas, yet the Cruise faily has menorahs literally all over their house. After he turns off the christmas lights and walks towards the kitchen a menorah is shown illuminated by the only turned on light in the house.
