Cool dude. Dunno why but I always think that sung tongs is the album cover for a Two Inch Astronauts album, so you should check them out.

+Olias of Sunhillow, since you like Tubular Bells and CttE. It's Yes' singer's solo album where he plays everything.
+80s King Crimson, particularly Discipline, since you like Eno and Talking Heads

...

just been seen on the street
eno/cale - wrong way up
skaters/yellow swans - humming lattice flowers

Check out H.P Lovecraft
Try and use existing charts based off those albums. Like if you love loveless, try other shoegaze bands mu has tons of charts for this
Will do thanks for the rec, esp king crimson
Try some Steve Reich and Charles Mingus, especially if you like eno and zappa

Hiatus Kaiyote- Choose Your Weapon

...

OP said: fuck lazyposters

op is a useless pleb

Seconding this. Lazy posters fuck off or rec

While making this i realised how fucking shit my music taste is and i couldn't complete because i fell into a massive panick attack. Please kill me.

not sure how posting my chart in a chart thread makes it a lazypost
this

Nice man

why post boku chart

We have kind of a similar musictaste, nice

Very nice

Thanks! Any recs?

It's lazy because you don't contribute to the thread. Asking for recs while not giving recs yourself is a good way to kill these threads

shut up fag

Mobb Deep - The infamous

Dont be a dick man

Tubular Bells is god-tier, 10/10

A lot of prog, I like that, i'd rec Semiramis - Dedicato A Frazz and Focus - Focus II

DANGER DOOM - The Mouse and The Mask

Give some, get some, you're not going to get any recs in here unless you give decent recs to other people.

no one in this thread could give worthwhile recommendations

what's the first album on the 2nd row of other favourites?

>some interesting industrial stuff there i should be getting more into the genre soon
it's my favorite genre I can help you, listen to crash worship
youtube.com/watch?v=2N-DwdFLqVk&t=1783s

+Broadcast, Candy Claws
Check out The Fiery Furnaces - Blueberry Boat

+The Beatles, The Doors
Try The Byrds and also Fraction - Moon Blood

+Eno, Gas, Caretaker, Tangerine Dream
Listen to Terry Riley - A Rainbow in Curved Air

It's funny, when you die, how people starts listening.

Pinegrove - Cardinal

Then why bother posting to these threads?

Misread. It's Whenever, if Ever by the world Is a beautiful place and I am no longer afraid to die

yea

other favorites not second tier classics

thank you

that's not true
this
where exactly did i ask for recs
this
it's a chart thread. purpose of the thread is to post your chart. useless banter is a secondary

my music taste is generally more diverse than this but i usually only like one or two songs from the album the song comes from, so i decided to choose albums where i liked more than 60% of the songs for it to count.

youtube.com/watch?v=M_azCIe_0Kk

pleb

Jamie XX - In Colour

the band brand new

oh and remember one thing about the replies you might get: they listen to death grips and radiohead :^) . paramore is great.

youtu.be/1l11glbu1dw

+++++++Why?, Big Black & Milo
Hey qt nice Milo 4th row, 1st album, Machine Girl - WLFGRL
Dude I saw that cover art and thought "I need to hear this album" and I'm only on the first song right now but this is great.

"my chart"

First time posting
Any recs?

I am actually retarded

Yeah, my sides! Thanks for recs!

And forget to post mine. Anyway, you should check them

Oddisee - The Good Tape

Lakutis - 3 Seashells
Shabazz Palaces - Black Up

Pretty nice digits

+++Prurient & Haxan Cloak, ++Hecker, Aphex, Frost

posting in a ded thread again

+MIA
Kero Kero Bonito Generation
Ride - Nowhere
Au Pairs - Stepping Out of Line

Just my favorite albums that I keep coming back to from time to time.

why is /chart/ so dead, youd think every user would have one

i am a nu-shit

Recs would be greatly appreciated! Trying to expand my tastes - currently attempting to get into jazz, rap, and blues, so if you can rec me stuff like that in addition to metal/prog/rock, that'd would be awesome :)
I'll give some rates and recs when I get back in a bit!

because lazyposters

its dead because of fags like you who spam "lazypost"

Even if you don't listen to stuff that they've posted, you can just rec what you're listening to or something different to give people something new to listen to.

Without recs, chart threads are just circlejerks.

This user here back with some rate and recs.
>that'd would be awesome
Also noticed I can't grammar for shit apparently.

>+A Perfect Circle, Queens of the Stone Age, Paramore, Kyuss, Led Zeppelin, Daft Punk, Nirvana, Foo Fighters
6/10. I'd recommend Mastodon and Quest for Fire.

>+Yes, King Crimson, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Green Day, Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden Doors, Rush
>~Beatles, Paul McCartney
7/10. Would get more points, but I'm not crazy about the Beatles.
Check out Rainbow and/or Dio.

>+Weezer, Neil Cicierga, Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, The Black Keys, RATM
>-Kanye West
5/10. I'd check out DJ Schmolli if you like Neil Cicierga.

>+Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath
>~Beatles
6/10. Check out Funkadelic.

>+Paramore
>-Nicki Minaj
5/10. You might like Our Last Night. They do a lot of hard rock/metal covers of pop songs.

>+Black Sabbath, Sonic Youth, Sleep, Electric Wizard, Darkthone, Miles Davis
>~David Bowie
6/10. Check out Vanna, Snarky Puppy, and the last few Opeth albums.

circlejerking over your own taste is better than circlejerking over the shit recs you autists give

Circlejerk in private then, no one wants your tryhard, contrarian hipster tastes polluting an otherwise nice thread.

the way i see it im improving an otherwise garbage thread

Just ignore it you cry baby

then i could say the same to you about supposed "lazyposts"

Please anyone rec me screamo/midwest/twinkle/twee/shoegaze stuff

once again, you're doing yourself a disservice to not listen to The Mars Volta

Get off this website while you can
Silver Jews - American Water

early Unwound

Jeromes Dream - Seeing Means More Than Safety

For first time this is good

Reatards - Teenage Hate

Deep Puddle Dynamics - The Taste of Rain... Why Kneel

Hoops - Routines
Tigers Jaw - Spin

Yeah I saw your post yesterday, but the thread archived before I could reply. I think I remember listening to The Mars Volta at some point a while back, but for some reason I dismissed them. Looking at them again, they're super fucking solid and right up my alley, so I'll def have to update my chart to fit them in somewhere. Thanks, mate!

Some of the new shoegaze stuff
Glaze - Wasted Mind
Soft - Coldwave Nostalgia, A Shoegaze Story

Not sure what you would define as "screamo", but Asking Alexandria, Underoath, and Blessthefall are all pretty good IMO.

>Oddisee, Kill Bill, Lakutis
3 guys I've heard good things about but never listened to, I'll check them out.
>Shabazz Palaces
Dude I love Shabazz Palaces. Ishmael Butler is a genius.

;)

>Deep Puddle Dynamics
I've heard that album, they're great. I Am Hip Hop (Move the Crowd) is probably in my top 100 songs of all time.

you have great taste. a lot of my tops are in there too. dont see too much of people who like alex g up in here. i would recommend the albums black foliage by the olivia tremor control and unicorn by tyrannosaurus rex. for something more acoustic/folky try just another diamond day by vashti bunyon.
sorry- you're hopeless. dark side is your favorite pink floyd album and your top jimi hendrix is a "best of" CD. you like fucking american idiot by green day. it would be pointless to recommend anything to you because you're boring and anything interesting would go over your head.

>Clearly didn't read the "minimum hate" portion of OP's post.
I love how you just assume that anything you recommend would "go over my head" as if music is some sort of fucking math concept. Like the fuck is that supposed to mean?

>clearly doesnt go on Sup Forums
am i really the first person to call you out? i saw a shit chart and made a comment observing how shit it was.

>implying his own is not shit

Clever Girl - No Drum and Bass in the Jazz Room
Modest Mouse - This Is A Long Drive
Testament - Practice What You Preach
Great taste
+++Gang of Four, New Order, Shellac, Sleep, Jesu
Check out David Pajo's side project Aerial M - s/t

w-will you adopt my chart when I'm gone, user-kun?

Sure thing, faggot.

t-thanks, uwu o///////o

>+Sleep, Yes
Testament is fucking great. Not sure how I forgot to put that album on my chart.
As for recs, I would suggest Rainbows Are Free

Pls tell me i have shit taste

looking for some recs to spice up my chart with :^)
>Sour Soul
nice :)
+Psychedelic Porn Crumpets - High Visceral (1&2)
I think you will like Grouper, try Dragging a Dead Deer Up a Hill
Have you listened to Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots?
Not at all bad ;) try BadBadNotGood, Ghostface Killah - Sour Soul
I see you like lofi sad stuff, try Giles Corey
This Town Needs Guns - Animals
You like female vocals? Try Aimee Mann - Mental Illness
Sunny Day Real Estate - Diary
Vildhjarta - masstaden

Yeah, they're good. What do you think of latest two albums? It's such a disappointment to artist, to see leaks month before planned relases.
I'm pretty sure that Oddisee will pass your expectations. It's more concious and less depressing than milo.

Aahhhhh OP is so fucking pretentious
