>Wow this is such a self aware film! Deadpool is unique and funny and so different to other superhero movies!
Yet the plot follows the same generic formula as most other capeshit stories. Hell, it's arguably more generic due to the damsel in distress. Other than the formulaic story that pretends to be subversive, the Reddit-tier memes and the fourth wall jokes acting like something completely new and unconventional, is there anything worth watching in Deadpool?

There's a scene where Reynolds gets pegged

I get it now, it's plebs trying to be patrician but they're too retarded to actually hold up in actual film debate, so they stick to bashing easy targets over and over to convince themselves they're better than the masses and not just assholes on the same level.
you forget to mention the lame ass villain
kys
haven't seen the movie, but you just said
>other than this, this this, and that.
doesn't help to prove your point or make your arguments seem solid.
It's not that funny tho. There is a solid forceful feeling in the air.
The plot, the lame villain, the generic formula and all that are intentional. You're here to basically watch Ryan Reynolds kick ass and do a stand-up routine. They did a great job blending that into the simple, straight-line plot, and made a fun movie.
