im going to be real with you user. i had this dilemma when going into this kind of work. it's hard to come to terms with but ultimately those animals are alive because of you, for research purposes, and their is no question their lives are outweighed by the contributions to ours their sacrifice provides.
It makes me feel better than research animals are extremely valuable, and taken care of very well, as they all have valuable genetic changes which required a shitload of money and time to produce.

just my two cents. save your rage for people who actually abuse animals

i dont know what this is but it isnt a rat killing co2 chamber (they dont use carbon monoxide). the rat killing co2 chambers look more like a glass shoebox so you can fit like 10 at a time
