Relistened to this recently, what a depressing album. You'd think something so overtly "sadcore" would come off as cheesy but they really nail it.

I noticed that MBV's website had a few minor changes and the band now has a new representative. Used to be Keith Cullen from Setanta Records. I guess Keith also ran the MBV YouTube account, since it's subscribed to one person, Keith's son. Now it's Anna Meldal, who I think was a MBV photographer.
Wonder what's up with that. Good to know things are going on behinds the scenes. Gives some hope for new music some day (year).

Closest thing I've found might be Kairon Irse, just because I get that same vibe of barely-human. See 1:30 here. Can just barely hear these horrible rasps in the back of the rest. Sounds like something demonic, but this whole album sounds evil as hell to me.
