In today's tumultuous world with the rising tide of Islam, it is our God given duty to fight against heretics and blasphemers! We are His children and His warriors on Earth! Catholic General for all Catholics regardless of race, we are all God’s children!
is FFSPX heretical or not? im considering going to their center. normie (not trad)priests here are measly peronists for the most part
Adam Morris
No but SSPX and SSPV are
Trad Cath is the only way to go
Aaron Richardson
If you are going to convert/come back to Catholicism, Traditional is the way to go. Salve, brother.

Question
Lets say you are a general/officer in a war.
You pledge your life to defend a position and you are being overrun. Odds are you will be captured and tortured.
Will you go to hell for shooting yourself?
Also lets say you are a commander and you order an assault that fails miserably and lots of people die. You decide to kill yourself will you go to hell?
Obviously suicide is wrong but is this form of suicide from battle…truly suicide?
Ryan Thomas
Also lets say you are ordered by your high command to kill yourself and you do…did you commit suicide
Jacob Lopez
Yes, ask yourself this; will it intentionally kill me. If yes, well thats suicide. And anyway, Jesus was a martyr, he would not want us to give up the gift of life God has given us to willingly, for it is the greatest gift we have.
Andrew Watson
why is this? juridictional problem? i am troubled catholic; i like the Church universal but my national Church is kinda..well, half-baked. i wanted to enter seminary in a few years some im thinking of going to an USA or spanish seminary. Jorge bergoglio is also doing nonsense;he still acts like an urban bishop
Camden Taylor
Try not to go to a "national" church. Find a small parish and remove yourself from that. Trust in God and know that all will be alright, He will lead you in the right direction.
Lincoln Cruz
SSPX is separated and outside the church, SSPV is even worse in terms of being sedevacantist
FSSP is all good
although its honestly hard to say with SSPX because there is so much BS and propaganda surrounding what they do. a safe bet is to assume they are outside the church
Anthony Foster
maybe i could join a very distinguished order. are Jesuits any good? are they liberals or still what they were originally? well, our religion is not really a Machine which sorts things automatically. each case is judged individually >also lets be honest the answer is of unlikely practical use for you
Oliver Martin

The Jesuits have been criticized for not sticking to traditional values, with John Paul II being the most recent critic of them. You also have to realize that Pope Francis is a Jesuit and his leadership has been questioned by many in the Church. Do your research and pursue what feels right for you.
Can any of you bros pray for me? I have trouble passing an exam >:
Benjamin Wood
Congratulations m8
Will do Slovakbro :)
Cameron Jones
Absolutely! What are you studying?
Jaxson Hughes

Whose parish is doing anything cool for Pentecost? Mine is doing a potluck on the 14th, and I may go to a local Schoenstatt Shrine later that evening to participate in its Pentecost vigil for a little while.
Mass this Sunday is gonna be great!
Brayden Stewart
Favourite passage is hands down Isaiah 41:9-13.
Gives me strength when it feels like I'm all alone. Praise be to God.

So what's your thoughts on the Pope washing the feet of Muslims, and saying we all worship the same God?
David Rodriguez
Allah is not the Trinity
Luis Taylor
Need some help lads. In the Matthew, Jesus says that message is specifically for Israelites. Does this mean only Jews should listen to his message, and only Jews can be saved and enter heaven?
Kayden Morales
I see it as a sign of appeasement removing us from criticism if the muslim world says christians havent done anything to help.
Austin Taylor
We forgive him and pray he will change his secular progressive ways.
Joshua Harris
I'm Catholic and am so sick of the pussified nature of the Pope and current state of the Church.
Hello? Islam is coming. "Thou shalt not stand idle by thy brother's blood"
Why the fuck do Catholics forget the Old Testament when God had a fuckin' Army and turned people into a pillar of salt for even looking back at Evil?
Andrew Turner
The Pope says different. And as Jesus told St. Peter, the first Pope: "What you hold true on Earth, I'll hold true in heaven."
Cameron Richardson
as an argie i am aware of Jorge's antics. he has done a lot of nasty stuff, i shoudlnt mention it in detail but..its sad he could have dragged Argentina into the coming religious-race war too
Tyler Bailey
Become Reformed if you feel predestined to do so
Zachary Williams
>Why the fuck do Catholics forget the Old Testament when God had a fuckin' Army and turned people into a pillar of salt for even looking back at Evil? Yeah, although his army couldn't win against "iron chariots". So he wasn't all that scary.
Michael Rivera
But what if the Roman catholic church really wasnt the original church, because they teach a completely different doctrine to scripture.
But Islam says that there is only one god and that is Allah, that contradicts the Holy Trinity. Islam is heretical and while it may be Abrahamic, it is completely different.
Jack Richardson
Old Iberian is a highly underrated form of plainchant. Shame it hasn't gotten widespread appreciation in the Church. youtube.com/watch?v=is4L754iFIE

>But Islam says that there is only one god and that is Allah, that contradicts the Holy Trinity.
Of course, because they're actually monotheistic. The trinity is outright polytheism, the crucifix is idolatry, and communion is ritual cannibalism.
Jason Miller
peter was fallible, and so were all the Apostles, Peter denied Christ 3 times, he may have been an Apostle, but he was no better than any other sinner.
Logan Harris
My church is also doing a potluck this weekend
Ryan Flores
Except JESUS said that to Peter, not the other way around.
...or are you saying Jesus was fallible?
Adam Bennett
>Of course, because they're actually monotheistic. The trinity is outright polytheism, the crucifix is idolatry, and communion is ritual cannibalism.
VADE RETRO SATANA!
Justin Cox
>Peter denied Christ 3 times, Before Pentecost. Upon the reception of the Holy Spirit, the Apostles infallibly preached the Gospel to the world as they were commanded.
James Ward
Catholicism is monotheistic though. While there is the Holy Trinity its not worshipping three different things, it is worshipping the wonders of God as a whole
Aaron Watson
I've been talking to my Diocese's Vocation Director and I'm not sure if I should take the plunge or not. I see the numbers and they look ugly for us Catholics but I could see the appeal in being a priest. Any thoughts?
Justin Perry
It's Matthew 15:24 if anyone wants to check the passage i am referring to

I went to a black church potluck once, they didn't eat pork like Muslims but man, black women know how to cook. Very nice people
Colton Nguyen
STFU faggot. You are going to a camps. Hope you like ovens...
Carson Reyes
>While there is the Holy Trinity its not worshipping three different things, So when Jesus prayed, who was he praying to?
Lincoln Allen
If you truly feel the calling. Please do it. We would have no Church without our priest.
Jonathan Long
Spoken like a true follower of Jesus the Christ...

Christ was sent first and foremost to offer salvation to those of the Old Covenant. Those who accepted Him were not Jews, but Christians. The Jews were those who rejected the Lord.
Further, Christ is the New Israel. There is a direct line of continuity from Abraham to the Catholic Church. Israelites is in reference to all those who abide in Christ and in whom Christ abides. This is the teaching of the Church.
Cooper Ortiz
Of course not, he was God and man, but paul did teach that even if an angel came down and taught something different than he taught, to let them be accursed, Gal1 6-10. and Paul taught a gospel of salvation by Grace through faith, and their are verses mentioning predestination (Eph 1:4-10, Romans 8, Ephesians 2:8-10, Romans 10:9-13) Romans 4, Now you tell me Does the Catholic church sound like any of these verses or Chapters.
Nolan Allen
>The trinity is outright polytheism, the crucifix is idolatry, and communion is ritual cannibalism. It's so cute when heretic scum thinks it understands theology.
Oliver Mitchell
If you're Muslim it makes more sense, to us Jesus was a Prophet to the Children of Israel, sent to guide them. We believe pretty much everything about him that you do, except the Trinity.
Easton Lee
How Christian
Joshua Rivera
Do you believe everything Paul wrote to be of absolute authority?
Blake Taylor
well, you could have a life directed to an specific goal of your liking and choice
Matthew Myers
But by deniying christ, you deny the son, and by denying the son, you blaspheme the God of the Bible
Lincoln Adams
On matters of faith and morals and with respect to the Gospel, yes.
Justin Long
Feel free to dispute any of that. Especially on communion. You do understand what "transubstantiation" is don't you? If not, don't feel bad. Polls have shown the majority of Catholics don't.
Daily reminder the new Pope is a Jesuit degenerate.
Samuel Wilson
>We believe pretty much everything about Him that you do, except we deny His most important defining characteristic, His divinity, wich is the basis of Christendom.
Cooper Wood
How cuck of you. Were the Crusades not Christian?

Open borders with Mexico is a 100% Catholic plan, they plan to flood us with Catholics as a long term plan.
Jose Sanchez
Read the book of Ephesians, whole thing recommended but focus on two verses 2:8-10 1:whole (predestination)
then after that, Read Gal 1:6-10
and tell me if the Catholic church is teaching the same Gospel Paul wrote.
Verses on predestination Ephesians 1 whole thing Romans 8:27-39 John 6:37 John 10: the Sheep analogy, i know my sheep, they hear my voice

I can already tell you that there is no conflict whatsoever with the issues of election and salvation through grace.
There is no causal relation between God's foreknowledge of who will be saved and a person's acceptance or rejection of salvation. People are predestined insofar as God knows, as He knows all, who shall be saved from eternity. The fundamental choice to accept or reject Christ Jesus is nonetheless ours. This is the Church's doctrine. It neither conflicts with Sacred Scripture nor does it fail to reconcile election with human agency.
We are not saved through works, but by grace and grace alone. This is Catholic doctrine. Good works, particularly those of charitable nature, further open our hearts to the reception of grace, but they themselves do nothing for our salvation. Grace is neither earned, nor won, nor bought. It has been made available to all of us for free from time of Christ's crucifixion, death, and resurrection. Much as good works and especially the Sacraments further open our hearts to God's life, sin further closes our hearts to grace.
So, no, nothing you are bringing up is in the least groundbreaking.
