It's 2018. Spider-Man Homecoming was a huge flop and was subsequently written out of the MCU. As a result, Marvel/Sony has decided to semi-reboot the franchise yet AGAIN. However, since Spidey was already in Civil War, they can't just write him out of the MCU entirely. So they've come to YOU to help them write a solo Spider-Man film that ties into the MCU! You can do whatever you want, however there are some guidelines:
>No origin story. >You can't have Sam Raimi or Marc Webb direct it. >You must introduce AT LEAST 3 prominent members (Ex: Flash, MJ, etc) of Peter's/Spider-Man's supporting cast from the comics, and must integrate them into the MCU somehow. >Spider-Man/Peter Parker and Aunt May CANNOT be recast. >You MUST have some kind of tie-in to the MCU, whether it be a quick cameo or an integral part of the plot.
Everything else (Casting, changes to characters, villains, etc) is fair game.
>mysterious asteroid crashes onto earth >bacteria discovered on board >people start celebrating at proof of extraterrestrial life being discovered (if im3, cap2 and civil war can all exist in the same continuity then you can't whine about this plot hole) >first responders start getting ill >start becoming consumed by rage >start committing more and more aggressive crimes >lead scientist trying to discover what's going on becomes infected too >he's different though, he starts hunting down the other infected and draining them
meanwhile >eddie brock bullies peter >then peter retaliates and embarrasses him in front of everyone >gwen/mj/random love interest now has the hots for peter >eddie feels emasculated >drives out of town into the wilderness the night of the meteorite >another, smaller meteorite crashes near him >mysterious black goo inside
and then >spiderman starts trying to stop the infected until he comes across the scientist >easily beats scientist at first and then he runs off >then finds more infected >spiderman follows trail of bodies >finds scientist again, harvesting yet another >he's carnage-lite now, the two tussel >spiderman wins, barely, but is severely wounded >carnage gets distracted and runs off looking for more bodies >as peter recovers, rumours circulate about eddie's disappearance >people think he's infected or that he killed himself - leaving peter feeling guilty >final confrontation with carnage, who's now even stronger >effortlessly beats spiderman, ripping his suit to shreds >passerbys have all left though so it's fine >venom shows up right before he can kill him >venom kills the scientist because he wants to be the one to kill peter >peter remembers about the bell or something - narrowly wins >the symbiotes are still out there though

>Story takes place in Peters senior year, a year after whatever Spidey did last in MCU. General plot is that he must choose between college or full-time superhero. Maybe add a scene where he takes guidance from cameo avenger (Stark or Rogers) >Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, as he can actually take teenage/young adult characters and actually add a layer beyon high school shenanigans that has gravity. >Flash is introduced as former bully whom Peter has unresolved business with, Harry Osborne is his best friend and obvious plot device for Oscorps existence, Gwen is introduced as already being Peters girlfriend but there is relationship trouble because she has a scent of his secret life on the sideline >Tie in to MCU is Peters graduation speech mentioning the "great heroes of their time", formerly mentioned cameo, and possibly Oscorp somehow wanting in on the superhero stage, by "selling" super soldiers for the government

Carnage

and i guess add in a scene where politicians discuss the accords and whether the avengers should be sent into new york, ultimately deciding no because this is a biological issue that needs to be contained and cured, not a supervillain
Maybe have a couple of cameos from daredevil/punisher/cage
Jace Clark
Like with fury and heimdall, once black the character becomes black forever
Leo Bailey
I go over-budget by tens of millions making an adaptation of Turn Off The Dark with Julie Taymor directing. Not the final version either, the original draft featuring the spider goddess and everything.
Ian Lee
You can't get called out and save your effort by using the same material. This isn't good practice.
Isaac Anderson
Heimdall and fury are now black in the comics, once MJ becomes black in homecoming the character will be retconned as black
Lincoln Smith
Better luck next time.
Christian Jenkins
Don't forget. Spiderman is black now too.
Tyler Lopez
M night direct 3 characters are pizza guy(pic related), "I'm not paying for those" girl and russian next door person. From the MCU I bring CIA as the villian, spidey has to learn the ways of the big guy, while balancing his pizza delivery gig. End fight scene is him crashing the plane.
Elijah Thomas
Ben Reilly
Jonathan Wilson
Miles, not Peter
Connor Green
>mcu >baneposting
Wow how retarded are you?
Christian Baker
>After 50 years of comic book history Spider-Man is black >In 50 years he will be a woman >In just 100 years Spider-man will be a transgender fattie >In 200 years he will be a furry
Colton Perez
And? Miles is the current spiderman in the main Marvel universe.
Asher Moore
spiderman 4 with raimi that was the original plan with marvel anyway
Thomas Moore
Spiderman has already been a fattie. In Earth X.
Gabriel Roberts
get either the rebooted x men in it or fantastic four for cameos
Get a non traditional Spider-Man villain, like The Leader. So they can wrap up that villain since they gave him a small apearance in Incredible Hulk and then forgot about him.
Have it directed by idk.. Maybe Matthew Vaughn?
Grayson Taylor
No, both Peter and miles, read more
Austin Hughes
the autism
Jaxson Lopez
...
Justin Ward
How about you bleed more?
Michael Lewis
Last time I read was when all the universes got mashed together and Miles was kept as Spiderman and Peter wasn't.
Jason Cruz
These aren't half bad
Anthony Young
No, you're pretty wrong
Bentley James
Do some madam web bullshit and have mcu Spidey alongside Spidermen from other universes battling Spider Carnage
Jordan Ross
No, that's pretty much what happened.
John Nguyen
Dude, I recommend you to grab a comic, Peter is spiderman and so is Miles, both are in 616 right now
Josiah Butler
Fuck that. Comics have been shit for a long time.
Aaron Morales
everything is autism now
Anthony Scott
This could be a good one down the line if they do other spiderverse stuff before to set it up.
Adrian Wright
This is the cover of like two months ago, see that Peter is there
Cameron Hernandez
Have Homecoming happen in the same universe as this film, but make the film an adaptation of One More Day so it gets retconned out and spiderman ends up in the MCU timeline
Aaron Powell
How did he get into the 616 universe?
Jaxon Morris
Someone has already suggested Walton Goggins as carnage and a heavy R rating with whoever did the score from dredd right?
Andrew Perry
Spider-Man x Black Cat romance. Parker is white. Felicia can be white, Latin, or Asian. White hair is a must. Baddies are Venom and/or Carnage. There's some twist at the end that sets up a Secret Invasion storyline for the future of MCU. Russo Bros direct because why the fuck not.
Christopher Garcia
Adam Wingard to direct, his move from horror to capeshit makes him into the new go-to director and he gets the career he deserves. Dan Stevens as Flash Thompson, it takes place further into the MCU shitey timeline, no school age Spider-Man. Actually, just re-release The Guest.
Easton Nguyen
Why can't they recast? They did so with Hulk and he had far more integral parts to the MCU.
Adrian Rogers
>Why can't they recast? Because that's the rule OP put down.
Connor Russell
Carefully
Cameron Lee
>getting mad at shitposting for any reason other than it being shitposting
Gabriel Evans
In 83 years he'll be irish and latino
Caleb Phillips
Underrated
Josiah Sanchez
Spidey is dead. Bury it.
Evan Murphy
>*the spider If you're gonna quote a bad film atleast do it right.
