BACK WITH A BANG NOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW

better album by far

I like both albums, actually.

What are your favorite Post-Punk albums, Sup Forums?

I'm not terribly deep into the genre, but I have some odd favorites. Always welcome to suggestions.

Me:
Zounds - The Curse of Zounds
End of Data - Sahrah
The Cure - Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me
Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures
Killing Joke - Killing Joke (1980)
Amebix - No Sanctuary
Napalm Death - Hatred Surge (demo)
Christian Death - Only Theatre of Pain
Public Image Ltd. - This Is What You Want...This Is What You Get
Siouxsie and the Banshees - Kaleidoscope
Siekiera - Nowa Aleksandria
Sisters of Mercy - First and Last and Always
XTC - Drum and Wires
Above the Ruins - Songs of the Wolf
Death in June - The Guilty Have No Pride
Poison Girls - Where's the Pleasure?

It's pretty good but I always preferred the early stuff that had more of a rough, driving street-punk beat to it to the stuff that they did from HTND onwards. The hard rock/metal flourishes on the later records don't do much for me.

never really got to into post punk.

i like industrial and noise rock better

just preference i guess

The Sisters Of Mercy - Some Girls Wander By Mistake
Disciplina Kičme – Sviđa Mi Se Da Ti Ne Bude Prijatno
Samhain - November-Coming-Fire
Aburadako - Aburadako
Friction - Friction
Siouxsie & The Banshees - Tinderbox

just discovered pic related.

Pretty good shit

Bump

youtu.be/UrmBRDDftRQ

all studio versions of this song pale in comparison to the way they used to perform it live back in the day

H.R. speeded out of his fucking mind

Can someone recommend some good deathrock? None of the obvious stuff like 45 Grave, Cinema Strange, Christian Death etc.

Maybe some dbeat and crust too.

Just call them Nazis. Skrewdriver is fucking garbage regardless of politics.
I prefer Closer over Unknown Pleasures. That's a really good list, I'd like to add:
The Chameleons - Script of the Bridge
Preoccupations - Viet Cong
Killing Joke - Night Time
Soviet Soviet - Fate
Bauhaus - The Sky's Gone Out
Xmal Deutschland - Tocsin
The Jesus and Mary Chain - Psychocandy & Sometimes Always

>Just call them Nazis

The album so good Sup Forums dare not even discuss it
