Yeah on second thought I probably rated it way too high. Thinking back I can barely remember what happened in it; I was just going by my gut reaction to how I felt about it.
The Avengers was pretty good in the cinemas.
It was the first time you saw all of those characters on screen together.
But once you watch it anywhere else, it's glaringly obvious that it was directed by someone who had never directed a blockbuster before.
I only liked the Captain America films, the fish out of water story parts of the first Thor movie, the first hour of the new Fantastic 4 and Dead Pool.
Everything else was just bad and not worth rating. I've seen all of them except the Ed Norton hulk movie. I don't know why I keep doing this to my self.

Captain America 1 has a great first half and an awful second. Iron Man is literally the only Marvel movie that holds up on rewatches and was actually a breath of fresh air when it came out.
