We know that Sup Forums sucks to discuss vidya, since the steam sales are at their peak, let's have a casual vidya thread.
Since we know Sup Forums actually fucking plays videogames.
What are you playing right now?

OP here, maybe nobody is interested right now, I'll remake it later in the day.
Anyways I am playing pacman DX+ and it is fucking great.

...pacman? This is why no one responded to your shit thread on Sup Forums

I didn't make one in Sup Forums. They are too busy arguing about console wars, user.

...

tf2

Well I am also playing Metal Gear rising revengeance, in case that gets this going.

going back and forth between the ringed city and median xl ultimative

I plsy world of wsrcrsft and km like da best on my server. k like b now u guys r cool. We talkied about b chan in class last week mrs. Johnson class bout internets. Lol post pics too like this

I've been playing some Stardew Valley again. Currently in a lesbian marriage.

Dirty bomb and CSGO mostly.
Solo game
Just started the new Hitman, actualy downloading prey. I play Betrayer and Fancy skull to relax my self. I have bough this war of mine but haven't try yet.

You MUST try dirty bomb if you like multy fps.
The new hitman is fun, Betrayer is a bit weird, but fancy skull is perfect for 20 minutes break in you daly routine.

Classics never die, you play the ranked mod ? It looks empty as fuck.

im playing god eater and planescape torment

Yeah every single Sup Forums thread is now nostalgia about the golden days of Team Fortress 2.
I never played it, never caught my attention.
I loved the fan content and memes and watched the meet videos though.

Heroes of the Storm, literally finished building my new comp 2 weeks ago and have been just filling it with games, porn and music since then. Hadn't played HotS since alpha and beta so it's been a while

Dark souls 3

Fucking Team Fortress 2. ~5k hours in that shitty game.

Heros is great fun until you drown in salt

TF2 is the game where I start playing for real, meeting people (clan wars, ...) so it's very important to me. And still today i have lote of trubbles to find FPS that worth as much to me. CS, Dirty bomb are the exeption.

Currently balancing tf2, csgo, dishonored, shadow of mordor and skyrim

I forget Rising Storm 2 vietnam.
If you like "simulation", you have to try it

playing through fallout 4 since im fucking dumb and forgot to get it until a week ago

CS:S mod maps e.g. Gungame deathmatch and Surf maps also.

I tried out Xonotic last night, and finished Thimbleweed Park last week. I need a good point-and-click that also runs on GNU/Linux.

I just ignore chat and play with friends I played wow with years ago,, so we either dominate as a 5p team or fuck around in AI, it's just a game no need for salt

also been playing BotW, not a pc vidya but vidya none the less, it's pretty fun and the perfect game to just relax in after a hard day of work, so comf, much explor

Yeah I do the same but only with one friend so we're subject to pubbards but usually its chill

I just snagged Pit People and I love it. I love The Behemoth's games and since I just had my son four days ago, the auto battler is really nice. His mom will pump, I'll feed him when she sleeps, and I'll watch my team fight and progress!

I haven't played a Pacman in eons... What platform is that on?

any games you're eager to play this year or next?

I'm mersonally waiting for Metroid, shit looks cash

Have you been modding? What's your favorite faction so far?

havent got any mods yet, stuck on the ps4 so i dont know if theres anything good
i like the railroad so far, fuck the brotherhood

Watching ecs finals fuck playing games atm otherwise grim dawn working my 5th level 85 toon

Honestly not really the only thing ive seen that look alright right now is Worlds Adrift and maybe one or two other things I cant remember off the top of my head cause that looks cute

ive gone back and started playing older games or other random things with friends

I am on PC, but it was also on xbox 360.

Reminder that these two epic games work on PC with resolution upscaling and minor visual bugs

Just finished the 3 Jak games and have worked my way up to Ratchet and Clank 3, this is how these were meant to be played

I have also been working on burnout 3, it runs almost flawlessly, just some minor frame drops and graphical glitches.

Currently 12 hours in and really enjoying it, keen for the new colossus

I play red alert 2, and pinball.

I'm a poorfag and not ashamed of it.

>What are you playing right now?
Zelda BotW, still for 2 months now, since I don't have much time playing anymore.
tfw, its not because of social life, which I still lack (also time for)

not sure what we are supposed to discuss here anymore Sup Forums is good for shitposting about games and /vg/ about insight discussions

>fucking had to solve like 10 captchas before I could post, fuck you google and the admins that decided to use recaptcha

xp pinball?

GTA:SA and after that i'm gonna play Megaman X

That's the problem user, all Sup Forums wants to do is fucking shitpost, not talk about the fucking games.
There is even people that say they don't even play games, they just go to troll and shitpost.

>Stellaris+bunch of mods
>Call to Arms+star wars stuff
>Ghost Recon Wildlands (DLC isn't worth it and microtransactions even if you buy the best version)
>Subnautica
>State of Decay with my own mods that make guns actually useful
>Witcher 3 GOTY

Just picked up Fallout 1&2 but I'm saving those for a trip with my shitty laptop coming up soon. Getting real tired of waiting for news on Mount and Blade: Bannerlord. Anyone play Signal from Tolva? Is it worth grabbing?

nothing cos my GPU went pop and died :'(

Yeah pretty much, and each update makes everything run better.
It never occurred to me before, but ratchet and clank is basically a better version of what no man's sky was trying to be, 15 years before no man's sky was a thing

Most stuff has been done before, obviously with their own tech limitations.

Why did it die? did the fans fail or something?

Playing this game. PTSD simulator

I feel you brother. My computer broke over a year ago. just now bought a new one.

speaking about it, wasn't anita sarkessian herself once posting on Sup Forums or is it fake?

I have no idea about that.

And it amazes me that with the tech limits I get the feeling of what was promised of one man's lie more from a linear action adventure game with a fictional economy as part of it's theme more than the actual 2016 game release.

The space exploration, meeting interesting creatures/characters, using money to buy new weapons, exploring for new gadgets.
Honestly it's cool how a game from a completely different genre can satisfy the same needs (to an extent).
Still talking about Ratchet and Clank btw, used the Jak pic cause it's badass

I think I overstressed it, was an old HD4800 series, Just went pop trying to render GalCiv.
But have car MOT/repairs, so can't buy a new card till I pay for those.

any Sup Forumstards playing ksp?

So you overclocked?

Is the new hitman good? Kinda avoided it cause i wasnt a fan of the episode shit

black desert online

Yeah. It is weird that those old ps2 games are somehow better than the stuff we get these days.
Maybe they should go back to that same budget and level of tech, because it let's them explore more genres and new things rather than remake call of duties forever, driving games and cinematic experiences.

Heros of the Storm. The occasional Overwatch game. I do want to the Call of Duty WWII game coming out this fall.

What's the most obscure game you ended up putting a lot of hours into?

>FLCL poster
I see you are a man of fine taste as well, user
Take a full pic of the poster
(also what game is that?)

The new Hitman is honestly incredible. It feels a lot like the older games where it's less action, and more "what ridiculous way can I kill this guy....and maybe sixty others..."

nah, never needed to. Was an HD4850 1GB OC, so already maxed. Was good for most of the games i played.
Currently running with it disabled as my MB doesnt have onboard graphics. Its pretty sad.

I picked up the "new" hitman for $25 on steam sale. Worth it for that price but im only about 2 hrs in. The episode format turned me off too but the levels are huge and there is a lot to explore

Some game called penny racers for gba
It is quite obscure, rarely posted in Sup Forums.
The sequel is road trip shifting gears, if you are ever interested there is plenty of these games, as they are a bit popular in japan, but nobody cares about them in the west, some aren't translated.

Hmm i might pick it up for the xbone. Is it a prequel?

Flying Heroes.

Came in a pack of 3 games from gamestop. It was challenging enough for it to be worth while, but also easy enough as to not really get stuck.

I don't believe that old games are just magically "better" but i do believe that the industry has just become more popular and as a result more saturated by people who dont care about games and only see this whole thing as a way to make a quick buck, no matter how awful the product.

It just came into the mainstream.
I mean, look at this list, how does any of these recent years even compare?

Can confirm. Only played the first two but it was hilarious to try and go around and kill everyone in a hotel without anyone else noticing.

>ooo nooo
>he's packing

But you literally are saying what's the problem.
Vidya was just better simply because people saw the money as a side thing, not the only fucking purpose.
It was like being an entertainer, rather than a businessman that just sees everyone and everything as money bags.
I can play new games just fine, it is just hard to find stuff that catches my eye that just takes the safe routes.

>only see this whole thing as a way to make a quick buck
Really wish Rockstar would ditch Take Two for that and self publish after this debacle with OpenIV. They make WAY more than enough to self publish in an age where nearly every platform has a digital download option. Seriously hope they don't model the upcoming Red Dead's MP off GTA:O. Instead of shark cads it'll be sheriff stars or something and it'll be even more of a grindfest if you don't want to spend real money.

Yeah that's true, I agree with that.
And online being used as a crutch to release unfinished "we'll just update later" games. That shit never would have flown back when they had one check for the gold master of the game, then that ships, with all the flaws, permanently

Look at mass effect andromeda. Like, yeah they fixed it, but that's honestly embarrassing for a AAA game like that
Not to mention all the DLC and microtransactions.

The arkham games might just be the worst examples i've personally played, and i'm never giving a cent to rocksteady or warner bros. games ever again.

Some games are made with love (blizzard), other games are made to be obsolete every 6 months (EA).

ace online, binding of isaac and neptunia

it's lit

Devil Daggers and crazy modded Oblivion

I hate EA so much for killing Popcap games.
Those games were so good and fun.
Now they are only mobile shit full of microtransactions.

Blizzard can suck a big fat cock.

Playing PUBG, Mount and blade: Warband, Black desert, and HollowKnight. Hollowknight is very good so far, it exceeds my expectations of what i thought it was going to be like.

Unfortunately, I don't see that happening, when they make so much more off of the online aspect and micro-transactions of the game than they do of the game itself (500 million per year)

I just don't see Rockstar or Take two using any of the old games models or giving single player any attention after this. They will just follow the money, it's the logical thing to do.

On the topic of EA, reminder that they murdered these companies and did this to Battlefront, and will probably do this to the new one

Blizzard hasn't made a good game in over a decade what are you even talking about.

Huh? I finished it in 12 hours...

Some people are slow or they love to take their time.

Clean up around your fucking desk.

Anyone else here playing ARMS? I'm into it but I suck, struggling to advance beyond rank 8.

Is it actually good? seemed always like shovelware to me.

Still grinding Overwatch and Rocket League. Patiently waiting for Sea of Thieves to launch. Has anyone played Black Desert yet? I'm contemplating getting down on that but not sure how it is.

Maybe you're playing it on max difficulty?

Playing through skyrim for the squillionth time

i want to blay battlefield 1 but no one plays anymore on pc. waiting 15 minutes for matches to start.

That's a great game. I don't play FPSs very much but I got into that one enough to platinum it on the PS4.

Not him, just making a wild guess.

Those games always die on arrival after a few weeks, you should know this by now user.
The problem of PC is that people have so much shit to do on it, they simply get bored and try something else.
It happens to me all the time.

Bioshock Infinite
I had finished Bioshock 2 for a second time so I thought it would be good to play it again and to practice for 1999 Mode Scavenger Hunt Achievement while casually getting all other Achievements

Games have always been about the money. You need to invest less of yourself into games.

And this year has been amazing for games. Zelda:BOTW, Nier:Automata, Horizon Zero Dawn, Persona 5, and Resident Evil 7 are all masterpieces.

GTA Online, CS:S, CS:GO, and normiewatch. Just passing the time

yeah. BF1 def doesn't have the player base it has on console. that's for sure. my question is why is it so drastically more popular on PS4 than XBone?

>CS:S
Why pollute your skills?

At least ditch Take Two and actually hire that Russian dude behind OpenIV to handle official mod support. Bringing him and whatever team he has into the fold would probably result in some kick ass mod content for single player and a much more secure from client side mods online.

Take Two is the company trying to fight mods as hard as they can, Rockstar is seemingly just dragged along. If Rockstar just got rid of their shady roommate that's always demanding money I'd be willing to bet they'd make it out just fine considering how much they can rake in off a GTA or Red Dead title.

Reflex Arena

Been playing it since day1 release over a year ago. Don't get it. Seriously, just skip it. It's a fucking trash game and I can't stop playing it.
