Is it true that there are no japanese words for western utensils and they just go
FORKU

Jaxon Flores
The overbooking incident was merely a product of a "belligerent" passenger, and a police officer that might have played a part in the man hitting his head on the armrest.
Literally every airline overbooks. It's just that United got the short straw. The incident is in no way representative of how the US works; you need better things to judge us on.
Jaxon Gomez
no need to make excuses, senpai. we look to import more of your degeneracy.
Brody Long
Japanese word for Knife is "Hō Chō" but we say "Naifu" also
Very cucked
Luis Taylor
Is this Photoshop?
The only degenerate thing I see are Kimo Otaka anime culture
Cooper Long

Elijah Bennett
Here in Mexico there's something called malinchismo, which is when someone actively prefers something foreign for being foreign. I feel there's a lot of people here that are malinchista towards the US, though sometimes it's not bad, because what they might bring in (animated movies for example) has a better quality than what we currently have.
We have a lot of fast food joints but it's not like the American joints are the only ones that serve fast and kinda unhealthy food here.
Up north we also use a lot of English words, and middle/upper class young people are stereotyped as constantly trying to speak butchered English.
I don't mind "Americanization" though. Not only do we "Mexicanize" them too, but not everything that gets assimilated from them is bad, it's just that the good things are inventions and such, which people don't really consider as culture.
Jackson Wood
The dude had his nose broken and lost two teeth, on top of suffering a concussion. That overbooking is common in the industry does not justify such a response on the part of United.
Nicholas Walker

For the most part I don't mind light Americanisation but I would prefer for us to import culture from other cunts, I don't think of the US as a good role model

Have you noticed any change in attitudes toward American culture on account of Drumpf and all of the disrespectful things he's said about Mexico?
Samuel Gray
I don't know, niponsan. I see these type of photos all the time, but maybe it's only in Tokyo? then you also have things like this: youtube.com/watch?v=0NcIGBKXMOE
maybe you only think it's normal because degeneracy is part of the culture, like it is with black people here. I will visit Japan someday to find out for sure.
Robert Bennett

You'll be disappointed at how normal and serious Japanese are. Well they're pretty weird in the Otaku meccas like Akiba
Michael Hernandez
Aaagg we know you're not a nip you're just one of Billions of weebs or a nigger with a proxy all those shit are fake, when you visit asia/japan you will know how they view you stupid Apes. They no gives a fuck but the western is obsessed with Japan and it is sad.
Samuel Baker
It could be worse, we could be getting examples from post-radicalization Middle East
But anyways I doubt we could ever get othercountry-ized, we have no other neighbors that are powerful enough to rub their influence on us. Whatever the US developed into wouldn't matter as long as it still became a superpower, we'd still assimilate whatever they did.

sure, hentai porn is part of it. Is it true that it's normal for japanese men to read hentai in public like on the train? also, tentacle porn just more degenerate than most things from any country.
all of this is part of your culture. How about this photo?
Alexander Gonzalez
Some people were trying to boycott American products in favour of Mexican ones. I don't know what have they achieved, but I personally kept buying the same things I always buy.
Nolan Garcia
I don't think that there is such a thing as 'Americanization'. What OP meant by this? Westernization of sorts I guess? > >which is when someone actively prefers something foreign for being foreign.
We have the same thing. But we prefer something foreign not for the sake of it being foreign, but because all Russian products are SHIT. It's usually concerns music, movies, tv shows and to a lesser degree literate. It isn't a secret that Russian cinematography is a joke (not like Bollywood, but very close). Our music is a ripoff of American music, so it's obvious why folk go for an authentic product.
Henry Allen
They're just celebrating virility. Lots of cultures have similar holidays dedicated to the phallus; we just see it as strange because of prudish Anglo Protestant influence.
David Russell
Fertility symbols are traditional folk culture in most of Asia. Pic related is Tibet
It's not degenerate. You and I have penises it's natural.
And no. Any normal person would be embarrassed to be seen with a hentai novel
Parker Martinez
>Russian cinematography is a joke
WRONG! Also your literature is great. Everyone loves Tolstoy and Dostoevsky.
Ayden Carter
I understand that. My point is that one persons culture can be seen by another person as degeneracy. if you're a woman and you don't wear a burka, you can be seen as a degenerate.
>yfw this is the only thing that is sustaining the "60% of men that are not virgins" in Japan rate
Sebastian Lee
>Tolstoy and Dostoevsky.
I meant modern literature. Also Tolstoy is boring af, Dostoevsky is outright depressing. Tarkovsky is overrated. Fuck em all. I'm more of a beatnik literature guy.

Cheating is as common here as anywhere. Of course it's looked down on. People divorce over this shit

Yes, it's unfortunate for them to be stuck on a small island. More Japanese people should emigrate to foreign countries like the chinese do, so they can find happiness.
Grayson Taylor
Trying to read Anna Karenina and holy shit I don't think I can keep going. The only story I care about is Levine / Kitty. The part with Anna are ESPECIALLY awful.
Christian Allen

That may be true--I don't know. The video is more convincing, but they can also edit out many people with opposite views.
Anyways, good to know. Visit America sometimes. Japanese people seem to like San Francisco and New York. I'll visit Japan. Maybe soon.
Juan Morgan
Except mainland Chinese ruins everything everywhere they go. If I can trust the Japanese to keep their manners while still abroad, I'm selling tickets for them to come over here
Jace Campbell
>Except mainland Chinese ruins everything everywhere they go That's why when large groups of Chinese come to your country, you need to establish a Chinatown for them, so that they stick to themselves and not ruine the whole city. Learn from California and New York.
Aaron Robinson
They establish it themselves. Having a chinese ghetto is not a good thing
Jackson Hill
>Having a chinese ghetto is not a good thing it is when you can avoid it! I avoid chinatowns like the plague. Best of all, if they have a big enough chinatown, they tend not to leave it.
Benjamin Myers
Not americanized at all. America in all aspects (language, culture, politics, economy) has nearly zero influence here.
Jaxon Perry
It's also nice to have chinatowns where you can order food from 24/7, have it delivered, and feed your whole family for $10

do many people not speak english there? curious because I want to visit russia some day.
Jason Cook
>do many people not speak english there?
95% do not speak a word of English. In Moscow and other cities this number is lower though, but still about 85-90%.
Brayden Watson
>Dostoevsky is outright depressing so.. perfectly representative of modern russia?
As for France:
American influence is very implented, from fast food to tv series but it's way less than say, germany or the UK. Even then, i don't care. we still can influence american hipsters and elites too :^)

We used to be extreme americaboos after the war, then terrorism came and since the Vietnam war your image started fading. Nowadays aside from some old reactionary nobody likes you that much, and the Simpsons put the nail in the coffin of your image long before the internet. I guess politically speaking we often stay under your wings but that's normal, and for what concerns pop culture we're more shielded than others because we have our own music industry and we like pizza and kebab better than McDonald (wich right now is the only real fast good chain beside burger king, other companies are very wary of competing here even if that's going to change soon)
Jeremiah Perez
Is School Days the only anime you watch, Isac-senpai?
Liam Campbell
>do many people not speak english there?
There aren't much people here who has C1 or C2 level of proficiency. Usually people here has A1 or A2 in some exceptional cases. If you ask for directions they'd use gestures rather than English language.
Angel Russell
Next to zero.
Jacob King

Kevin Peterson
fuuckk...
now i understand why russia is not a popular tourist destination. even the chinese will learn english for tourist money
Brayden Kelly
Besides you are liable to receive shit quality of goods and services for western prices. This is true to some extent for all eastern tourist destinations including this one, but is even worse over there.
Liam Taylor
That being said, are American really convinced that having the whole world speak their language is an advantage?
Gabriel Anderson
have been to czech republic. very nice people-- most important thing. quality and service is expected. would go again.
also been to bucharest. taxi drivers come out of their cabs to try to rob me. everyone on the street tries to pick my pocket. As long as russia is better than bucharest, I would be OK with going there.
Anthony Cox
What the fuck, Mexico that low? Is this just taking into account people who only know English?
William Thomas
of course, we can't be friends if we cant speak the same language. We are force to learn spanish or another foreign language in school here also. It's not about language superiority.
William Hill
I feel like I need to take advantage of it, but I'm too dumb to know how.
Ethan James
Nothing u mentioned was degenerate desu
Colton Adams
Do you Japs really eat danish butter cookies?
Michael Price

Having a common language is a good thing, but aren't you preoccupied that basically the whole world can know everything that happens in your cunt by reading your newspapers and social networks while the little you know about other countries only passes through foreign reporters and public announcements? Maybe it's just my autism.
James Brooks
it's not degenerate to you because it's your culture and it's normal to you. just like you think there is degererate american culture.. such as what? legalize marijuanna? rap music? black culture? yes, all can be considered degenerate, but none of that compares to japanese porn, eating live animals, etc., but that is just normal culture to you.
Austin Mitchell
I cant think of a major country that doesnt.
Isaiah Rogers
>japanese porn, eating live animals, etc
I can't see how it's degenerate either.
Nicholas Reed
There aren't many tourist-attracting places here in Russia, nobody is interested in travelling here. People don't study English because it's mostly useless in this country besides some narrowly-specialized areas like IT or international affairs. Russians don't travel to other countries, don't have relatives or friends abroad, don't consume western media and entertainments. Most of our country is still under an "iron curtain", just like the Soviet Union. In real life, for example, I have never seen or talked to a foreign person.
>even the chinese
Incorrect comparison. China and Chinese people are well-integrated in the world economy and culture, unlike Russians.
Leo Murphy
>I have never seen or talked to a foreign person. >>I have never seen
Even in my 250.000 shithole we have African and Pakistan students. Where are you from?
Nolan Ross
It's not like you aren't world leaders in porn production. Also your concept of culture it's pretty closed, I'm sure they have other heritages in Japan besides mangas and fetishes.
Leo Martin
that's a fair criticism, but that's how the world is. I mean do you expect all english speakers to learn italian, spanish, french, german, mandarin, etc.. in order to understand everyone else? You know that america is made of immigrants, and many speak a second language already--including myself. but of course there are ignorant americans who cant even speak english well when it's their first language and expect others to learn it as well. It's not everyone but that's just how ignorant people are everywhere.
Leo Hughes
>Where are you from?
From a large city with more than one million population.
Michael Ramirez
mostly yes
Juan Foster
That's weird man. I often see these packs of Pakistanis, maybe because I live in the downtown, and the university isn't that far... Blacks also aren't uncommon sight here anymore.
Jonathan Clark
>In real life, for example, I have never seen or talked to a foreign person.
Damn, that's kind of crazy to me, but maybe it's normal outside of cities anywhere.
>>nobody is interested in travelling here. That's really not true. Everyone I know wants to visit Russia. Only problem is we would have difficult communicating and getting around, so everyone mostly goes to english speaking places.
Ryan Gutierrez
>nobody is interested in travelling here also, you're very far away from here!
Carter Martinez
>Evie Lund
Lund sounds German or Swedish, not Chinese
Luke Phillips
>It's not like you aren't world leaders in porn production well, we were comparing degeneracy between US and Japan. My argument is not that there is no degeneracy here, but that Japan has their own degeneracy that I consider much more degenerate.
But in all fairness, I think both Japan and USA is nothing like what we see in media. Reality is boring, people go to work, they go home, they watch stupid shit on TV mostly.
Anthony Howard
>That's weird man.
I guess my city is so shitty and miserable that not even Pakistani and Africans want to go here.

I'm less worried about that, and more worried about the fact that millions of English-speaking (fluent or near-fluent) people can come here and both compete for jobs and participate in our market.
In contrast, there are so many jobs in Italy that will probably never suffer competition from foreigners because comparatively few foreigners learn Italian. All of the jobs that require Italian language skill are "safe" for you.
Competition for employment in the USA is intense. It's only going to get worse when automation kills off lower class jobs, too. There is very little safety net except for old people, so the current generations getting fucked are millennials and generation X. I can't complain, though, because the USA designed the Bretton Woods system and it pushed for this globalist system. It's primarily harming the American lower class.
James Price
To read English and American literature in the original language. I had to learn it exclusively by myself using textbooks and tutorials because even at school I was studying German instead of English.
Justin Smith

I'm calling bullshit on this data senpai
Henry Roberts
The key doesn't say "fluent," it just says they speak it at some level
>Australians in charge of reading data in their own language
Christian Jackson
>I'm less worried about that, and more worried about the fact that millions of English-speaking (fluent or near-fluent) people can come here and both compete for jobs and participate in our market. If they learned english to do that, then they're welcomed. if you're a native english speakerand you cant compete with someone who has to learn the language to get the job, then you deserve to lose it. America should welcome that kind of talent. It's the ones that come here and don't learn the language and take jobs that are the problems and this is just as common.
Joshua Murphy
>if you're a native english speakerand you cant compete with someone who has to learn the language to get the job, then you deserve to lose it.
What part of "this creates an intense pressure" do you not understand?
You're about as bad as this illiterate Brain drain is a real thing, no joke. If all the highly educated Italian people learn English and then leave Italy, Italy will be run by those who are leftover: dumb people who are corrupt, incompetent, and lazy. The employment competition pressure would be relatively low compared to a situation in which this wouldn't happen, where intelligent Italian doctors stay in Italy and increase competition.
Globalism and brain drain upends local meritocracies this way.
>America should welcome that kind of talent.
No, because speaking a language does not guarantee cultural compatibility. I speak Mandarin but you won't catch me alive singing the praises of chabuduo culture, the politburo system, kicking the can down the road to 'save face,' animal cruelty, and lots of other systemic problems that China as a society has. And you know what? That would make me an awful fit for China despite speaking their language.
Citizenship in the US is civic nationalism and a social contract with our government. It's not a damn language.
Carson Young
>If all the highly educated Italian people learn English and then leave Italy, Italy will be run by those who are leftover: dumb people who are corrupt, incompetent, and lazy.
This happened to Russia twice in the 20th century.
Nathan Thompson
If Americans assimilated, we would be living in teepees on the plateaus instead melting cultures.
The jobs that America imports are mostly STEM jobs. People can't just come to compete for jobs just because they can speak English. You're being fooled if you think anyone is stealing your jobs besides automation. STEM graduates are being picked up before they even look for work here. There is not enough talent and why we import it. Apple, Google, MS, they hire everybody that comes out. Without the importing talent, our tech industry would probably be half the size, and for what? If you can't compete for the position with foreign borns, you dont deserve the job. As long as they get here legally is all I care about.
America is not a country of american born citizens as much as you wish it were.
Hunter Hill
then how the fuck is Finland that low then? everybody and I mean everybody speaks at least shit English to a level where we may as fucking well not have our own language anymore
Jaxson Lee
>No, because speaking a language does not guarantee cultural compatibility. What's this culture that you care so much for? Black culture? Mexican food, Jewish Media? Churches? Basketball, Baseball, Football? Fast foods and Walmarts?
Are you afraid of mosques? I don't want them here either, but Mussies aren't from mexico, so they don't get here so easily.
