it's not that you 'can't get into'
you just don't like it
you don't have to like all acclaimed albums

Free Jazz is scary.

Uh, Ascension is pretty difficult. I can definitely imagine someone not getting into it.

...

there's way better coltrane albums out there yknow

What this man said

DESERTSHORE
ASCENSION
FELDMAN
THE LIST COULD GO ON

I got into TMR immediately after I listen to it for the first time when I was 13, and I have been unsuccessfully trying to get out of it ever since. Never understood why people view it as an album that is difficult to "get".

Most Sup Forums core that people actually talk about happen to be the ones that I dont like/ understand. e.g. NMH

every single album except for this

Well, it's a pop rock album. However their debut
White Music is similar to Gang of Four's Entertainment if that helps. Only with slightly less jarring guitar playing.

...

Same, its just 60s rock that sounds a bit like modern indie

I would also recommend listening to the remastered version. The original version is so horribly mastered to the point of making the band sound even more amateurish.

I just get bored, to be honest.

>I just get bored, to be honest.
Nah, you've got it, got it good.

This album is irrelevant af. It was good for month and a half tbqh.

It just sounds like noise and random playing

Oh boy, just wait until you discover jazz and classical music. Just random noodling, I tell ya!

I love Laughing Stock, but I can't get into Spirit of Eden. I think you have to get into a certain mood, but to me the music is just isntantly soothing and, I dunno, yearning?

>I love Laughing Stock, but I can't get into Spirit of Eden.
Same here. Laughing Stock is more structured and sounds like it's exactly what they wanted to achieve with Spirit of Eden.

Try jumping in after Bluish, it really is a boring album to listen to sequentially.

I have no idea why everyone rants and raves about this album It sounds like a fake band from the movies that portray "rock"

Same. Used thing this was amazing when it was fresh.. Now its just meh

>Same. Used thing this was amazing when it was fresh.. Now its just meh

*used to think
Wtf is up with autocorrect

I can't get into Radiohead.

>this fucking asshole
