SERIOUS DE PALMA HEADS:

I only just saw Carlito's Way and it was excellent. Please tell me which other of his films are best.

no.

Carrie

I like Femme Fatale (2002) a lot, but I don't think he ever matched Carlito's Way before or after. Just so emotional and greatly directed etc.

Blow Out (1981) and Body Double (1984) are my second favorites from him after FF and CW.

I never got the love for his Mission Impossible film.

I saw De Palma a couple of weeks ago in the theater. I really enjoyed it.

For those looking to explore De Palma beyond his work with Pacino and The Untouchables - I suggest Phantom of the Paradise and Dressed to Kill. Sisters was good too.

Untouchables was always my favorite

I'll get banned. it's easy enough with a little time and effort.

PTP invites disabled at the moment anyway.

+1 for Blow Out (and catch Antonioni's Blow Up too if you've not seen it).

Phantom Of The Paradise is my fav

I could've posted a contact e-mail and later real one, but fine.

They're very different though, even if the inspiration is clear. I think I preferred De Palma's film more.

Thanks, guys. Looking forward to making my way through his work.

Have fun. I think my favorite part of his filmography is something from Carlito's Way or the scene in Body Double where they shoot a porn (music) video.

Very visual director.
