I liked the one with naggilum more honestly

DS9 "The Visitor" is top Trek.

that's not The Measure of a Man

my favorite DS9 episode is Necessary Evil, so fucking great

Its a tie between Inner Light and Tapestry.

Only plebs chose Masks.

Friendly reminder that Dukat did nothing wrong.

DS9: Duet

Its great sci-fi although its heavily flawed.

>civilization so advanced it can create a fully immersive VR experience yet goes extinct by a drought
>so heavily advanced yet it relies on a simple rocket to shot the probe into space
>heavily advanced yet they live like 11th century farmers

Now perhaps the world Picard experienced was a more romantizied version, explicitly created for this effect and not a fucking life he lived on a extremely advanced world like Coruscant.

>tfw rewatching it right now
>that moment when Picard sees his dead friend and young wife again and realizes it wasnt real

Mate, you realize that the path that we're on right now leads to being capable of a fully immersive VR experience yet using simple rockets to get into space, right?

Also it's supposed to be a fucking analogue for us ya mook

>deep shit 9 plebs

This is literally what autism looks like in motion. It's not about the technical details of the civilization, it's about their spirit. It's about OUR spirit. We, in real life, spent millions of dollars launching a golden record into space with sounds and images of mankind, knowing full well that the chances of any intelligent race finding it, if they even exist, is, to any significant mathematical approximation, zero. But we did it anyway, because that's how strong the human desire is to look at our mortality in the face and desire to be remembered.

The idea of a full lived lived and then waking up to your ACTUAL old life is utterly fascinating.

Probably the only interesting aspect about Inception, and Nolan didnt build on that.-

That's not City on the Edge of Forever

Overrated as fuck.

"Commander, tell me about your sexual organs."

the only Star Trek episode that can make me tear up, great choice

You people are plebs

Pictured: The REAL best episode of the series.

>Strapping a screen to your face and waving around some plastic dildos
>Anywhere near the HoloDeck

This.

>inb4 someone choses Best of Both Worlds

>"that the path that we're on right now leads to"

Please learn to read before responding to me, faggot.

One of my favourites, along with the OP. TNG had some spectacular episodes.

Man, Nana Visitor was fucking prime waifu material.

Shame she was a literal space jew.

Zinda! His face black, his eyes red!

Remember Me.

Fucking GOAT

(in no particular order)

Inner Light
Darmok
Tapestry
Q Who?
Who Watches the Watchers

>not a single mention of Chain of Command
Fuck you people.

You had David Warner and Patrick Stewart in the same episode.

Is he vaping?

I feel like Darmok isn't the best episode, but it's the best Star Trek episode.

Does that make sense?

What's the worst episode?

Hard Mode: No Season 1

LMAO VAPE NAYSH BROSKI

see you back on ebin reddit my friend x3

Every "Chief O'Briens Marriage is a failure" episode.

You're trying too hard.

The fact that they cut away to Riker so the audience kinda knows whats happening kinda kills the tension and the payoff when Picard wakes up.

Shades of Grey is a lame clipshow.

But I'd say Sub Rosa. Absolutely GARBAGE episode at a time where they should have fucking known better.

Except the one where his wife becomes a loli.

IIRC they already cut away to the crew a few other times before that.

>implying I don't gain power from his suffering

And he even managed to fuck that up.

simply ebin

brofist!

>meme episode
I hate court room drama, have never liked this episode, and yet it always gets mentioned. That may be because PatStew said it was his favorite at one time, but yeah, not for me.

>No one has said Yesterdays Enterprise
>is that the king of the meme episodes?

Don't forget The Wounded and The Defector. And of course In the Pale Moonlight in DS9.

Basically Trek when it's good is so fucking good.

Surprised nobody has said The Wounded yet

>he hates enjoying courtroom dramas
I pity you

>Friendly reminder that Ben Maxwell did nothing wrong.

Yesterday's enterprise

I'm glad you enjoy it, user. I don't find most court room drama very scientific or entertaining. It mostly sounds like either preachy morals or artificial tension to me.

Kek, he was right but in the eyes of Starfleet he was a murderer since he had no solid proof.

Deja Q
Conspiracy
Best of Both Worlds

rewatching tng but just want to skip to the super good episodes, what do? will it ruin my enjoyment?
