I fucking love 'The Bends.' It's nice that they got one album of unabashed arena rock under their belt before going all fucking chin-stroky on us.
I saw them on that tour w/ GBV and our lad Yorkie seemed to really be enjoying the part of the rock star. I don't think many people realize they went through a spot of that. Everything about Thom has been so po-faced from 'OK Computer' on.
