some more

I wouldn't but not due to lack of talent. Just not my thing

and more

No. Try painting.

understandable

It's too depressing.

Also too much negative space.

I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it but if I saw it at an art show for a reasonable price I might pick one up.

I dont really like charcoal so probably not. Id rather just frame a nice photo

Very much so. Infact can i buy the piece from op

I would. It's really brooding in a not aggressive way. It looks like Ligotti writes.

If I saw this one at a place like the Saturday Market in Portland or some other market it would be coming home with me. I really like it.

The best answer to your question would be provided by actually offering it for sale.

Nice dreamlike quality to your lines and blurring. Will def buy it. size?

I fucking adore charcoal.
Looks pretty good. Would buy.
Too edgy for my tastes.
Definately interesting. Might if it's decently priced.
Feels too blurry for me.

ok since you mentioned it you can buy some of my drawings from ebay.com/usr/sam-sheers-art

The auctions end in a couple hours so I would recommend not hesitating too much it if any of you really want to buy one.

maybe I'll put this one on ebay then. It would be considerably pricier than the one's I am already selling though considering that I spent a lot more time on it. I'd probably start the bid at $175. Would people be interested in that price?

btw it's 18in x 24in

I think it's cool dude, but I wouldn't buy them because I don't want creepy shit hung on my walls. I wish I could draw like you can though.

Where do you live? My roommate runs an art gallery

Don't sell them online sell them at art consignment galleries those guys know how to sell anything

That's actually a good point. I need to break into the gallery scene sooner or later instead of shilling my stuff online.

I just gotta expand my body of work a bit

the Boston area

another drawing I did

No, because they're fucking shit, up your game

Would buy and worship if I had the money :(

I love these. I'd pay for them.

Yes, I don't say this often here, but I enjoy their darkness.

I'd find at more enjoyable off out were more like this.

please see my ebay here

bumping

If i had money to spend i would, dude shits fuckin dope keep it up

I appreciate it :)

If they were cheap, sure.

As someone said above would do well here in the PNW at any sort of festival or market.

Unoroginal, but has a kathe kollwitz style that i like, personally i'd pay 200 for it

I'm gonna give you a deal and give you $20 off what you said you'd pay for it.

ebay.com/itm/-/253026834579?

Not a bad Sargent study keep it up

Now you see art history majors don't make that mich money

Fuck yeah!

WHO ELSE GOES TO THE PORTLAND SATURDAY GOBLIN MARKET?! THAT PLACE IS GREAT.

The people in this drawing are jewish looking, because of that and the style i would put its value at 200 its not something I would buy

you should've said that before I put it up for auction

I try to go every other week or so. I want some fish and chips from that British guy right now.

This is better

Ill advertise for you

I think your work is great OP. I would definitely buy prints of these. Because i buy so many prints i usually don't go much higher than $20 to $30 for a 24x36 print, unless its something particularily meaningful to me.

thanks, man :)

In that case, I may consider making prints. All I have are original works at this point.

Prints are a must, and absolute must. In a local setting, printers can print something decent quality and you can shrink wrap it over a foamboard, and sell them at art festivals and the like.
