If you are just some gluer with CO welding certificate, then that maybe a problem. But if you are TIG welder for stainless, aluminium and pipe method, and you still can`t find job then problem is in you, buddy.

There's a ton of welding opportunities in northern BC and maybe Abbotsford, the pays is decent usually 22$-35$ an hour

I got a job as a prison guard at 23. Starting pay is like 55k a year. Max pay is like 77k. With overtime guys clear 100 easy. Sergeants base pay is like 85k and Leiutenants base is like 95k. No college needed.

I saw the owners of one company I worked for weld a few times.
They'd put the pieces in the fixture, place the rod right up where they needed to weld and would just put their other hand in the way. They were definitely fucking up their eyes with just the light bouncing off the surrounding surfaces.
