Dolphins are mammals like people, cows are cattle.

dogs, dolphins, cows

same shit

all food

Yeah but do you eat all the dolphins and secondly can you cultivate the production of them on an industrial scale?

The significant difference is, that cows are NOT threatened with extinction. Dolphines are.

Interesting meme, Hirohito Leafo.

Cows are bred to be killed and eaten. If everyone stopped eating cows, we'd have way to many fucking cows and would have to kill a lot of them anyway.

Dolphins are wild, and more care needs to be taken about culling them in order to best preserve a balance ecosystem.

But a single dolphin's life isn't inherently more valuable than a single cow's life. And the land ethic should be applied in the case of killing either (breeding and raising as well, in the case of the cow).

>Dolphins are much more intelligent than cows and better able to have complex grasps of fear and pain
>They are killed with random stabbing and hacking which leaves them to drown in severe pain very slowly, whereas livestock is killed quickly and fairly humanely
>They are killed for no reason other than tradition and fun, almost none of the meat is eaten and the dolphins aren't used for anything

Killing animals is justifiable but brutalizing them for no reason is fucked up

Nice response, Tyrone Hernandez

Cows are mammals too. Dogs are the only animal we shouldn't kill

They're just a stupid fish if you eat fish and chips then why are you against dolphin hunting?

We should kill dogs too, and we do. We kill a lot of them.

No one would benefit from wild packs of family dogs marauding our cities and countrysides.

Who gives a shit about a stupid fish, are you saying you never went fishing before? That hook on it's mouth is cruel

Nice humane slaughter you're practising there my Asian friend.

Fakku you, dorufin!

>clubbing seals is ok
>dolphins is not
ok

killing millions of dogs from PETA everyyear in America is okay

killing some to eat is bad
ok

Dolphins use more of their brains than humans do. They're one of the most intelligent mammals on Earth. They have the ability to stop their own breathing which is a sad fact to think about. Personally, I would rather kill a person than a dolphin. To each their own but not my cup of tea and definitely not comparable to killing a cow/sheep/pig/dog/cat.

The only time killing something is detrimental is when it upsets the balance of the ecosystem. It's ethical to kill a controlled number of animals in a region if they're overpopulated, but unethical to kill animals in a region where they're underpopulated.

Because we're conscious of our effect on the environment, humans have a duty to maintain a balance in the ecosystems we exploit in order to keep them healthy and sustainable. Sometimes this means culling overpopulated species, sometimes it means promoting growth of underpopulated species.

We should be killing dolphins, apes and all predators on the land.

Show especially no mercy to apes and big cats.

The significant difference is, dolphins are intelligent as shut, far more intelligent that dogs.

They're also the only wild animal that has regularly saved the lives of humans. Since time immemorial, dolphins have rescued drowning sailors from the sea.

Killing dolphins is something only soulless Asians would do.

why do japanese always look cool no matter what they are doing. Look at this motherfucker, covered in dolphin blood, riding on top of the dying, looks like he's in an anime or some shit.

Dolphins are just dumb fish, haddock saves lives because they feed people so should be stop killing them

Aldo Leopold -- "thinking like the mountain"

Killing predators is detrimental to the ecosystem because it allows herbivores to thrive. When herbivores eat too much, the plants can't recover. Then the herbivores die out, and the whole ecosystem is in decline.

>killing dolphines is same as killing cows

Yeah, you buy your dolphins, breed them, graze them in your pasture, milk them, and then send them off to the abattoir. It's exactly the same.

>Dolphins are just dumb fish

No surprise that a Leaf fails the most basic biology.
