This is a risk as you don't seem to like Dean Blunt very much, but I quite enjoyed this, admittedly somewhat patchy, collab of his:

sorry I skinned my knee
Very varied shit here, put my top most listened ones the last few weeks.
future techno jams, effective noise bits, something that seems to be pretty rare. cathartic mind clearing

combing though obscure tapes of this sort feels so hollow

Hm, this is the first thing that comes to mind:
youtube.com
Its use of field recordings gives it a relationship-between-real-and-virtual aspect you can read whatever you want into
Also he gets compared to this guy:
youtube.com
I don't know any of the albums on yours besides Yo La Tengo. I'll take a blind rec if you'd like, I'm down to try something new.
o fuq I don't know much from yours either
"In my flesh and in the space between my bones" by Ben Frost, I feel like was inspired by Swans on some level.
"Selectallcopy" or "Sugarless" by Autolux
Have you heard M83 outside of Red Seas? "Night" and "*" I think are really underrated by Sup Forums.
I don't know much besides OPN on yours but for post-2010 try:
"A Single Point Of Blinding Light" by Ben Frost
"Men Today" - HEALTH
"High Lonesome" - Caspian (segues nicely into the next track, Hickory '54)
Harmonia - Musik Von Harmonia
Brainticket - Cottonwood Hill
Lilys - In the Presence of Nothing
Neu!
>o fuq I don't know much from yours either
its okay you have Emeralds here, you're alright imo
look into Basic Channel and the Chain Reaction label
now somebody give me recs
>recommending songs
>Chvrches
beta male
I don't know if "Quadrant Dub I" is the best place to start for Basic Channel but I'm feeling it so far. Hmmm if you like Emeralds maybe you'd like "A Physical Ascension" by Derek Rogers or "Lines Describing a Circle" by Peder Mannerfelt? Maybe you've heard them arleady.
You know I've gotten La Dispute recommended a couple times before and it's not bad, but something about the way the lyrics are recited more than sung just makes it hard for me to get into :/ I want to know how he remembers all those words tho
I know the lyrics off by heart by this point, haha
It's that specific song I'm recommending, as it puts me in a similar mood to the track "Cheek"
thanks these seem super promising
I have already heard the Ben Frost track, but the HEALTH and Caspian tracks were great though! I was surprised especially because when I put that Caspian track into google it said they are indie, but you picked the kind of track someone like me would enjoy.
Oathbreaker - Rheia
Roly Porter - Third Law
Also check every record Every Time I Die has done from New Junk Aesthetic to the latest one they released last year. Very consistent four album run of metalcore with a southern(?) flavor akin to The Chariot.
Third Law is on my chart ;) Thanks though. If I hadn't already heard it I would definitely want to.
Yeah Caspian are post-rock all the way but I had a feeling you'd like High Lonesome. They are my favorite band to see live; really pour their heart into every performance. Some of their older stuff like "La Cerva" and "The Raven" (two of my personal favorites) get that 'wall of sound' effect really perfect.
r8 and reccomend
Exquirla - Para Quienes Aun Viven
Divine Styler - Spiral Walls Containing Autumns of Light
also props for G.L.O.S.S., the former members' side projects (Tankini, Dyke Drama, Peeple Watchin) are worth a listen too if you haven't yet
Pumarosa - The Witch
Slow Motion Commotion - Nice Things Don't Happen to Assholes Like Us
Love, Claire - The Forgotten Cinema
Archers of Loaf - Icky Mettle
i recommend new taste
You might not like it, as it's really different, but I've always grouped Sadness Will Prevail and this record together:

5 minutes into Exquirla and definitely into it so far.
I knew that G.L.O.S.S. members had other projects but I haven't looked into them yet. I'll queue them up. Thanks for recommending.
Also Virgins is the only Hecker I've been into so far. Does he have any works similar to that? Ravedeath I've tried to get into several times but it just loses me after the first track.
good evening lads
i threw up a little
another classic case of first week on rym

Either leave or actually contribute, throwing around 0s and spewing the same nonsense is a waste of everyone's time.
I love how people come here to troll, but then they just give everyone the same rating, which lets everyone off the hook and defuses the entire effort. You have to give a couple positive reviews to make it seems like you're being honest and not just being a faggot
I just started getting into Hecker so not sure, but maybe Mirages or Haunt Me, Haunt Me Again? They're a little similar, probably closer than Ravedeath. I've also heard Love Streams described as similar to Virgins but I haven't listened to it much yet
Nah, just recently discovered the Criss Cross Label thanks to /jazz/ pretty cool modern day jazz stuff if you're into that!
Ascended. How old are you?
Shit I forgot some
How fun are you in person
sick burn bout my chart bro
Thanks man! Never heard of Lilys. Heard of "Neu!" but never gave em a chance. I will. That was cause of Can, right?
I didn't say "very weird and obscure le albums".
I said "varied" as in "there's not a cohesive line that connects all of these albums for you to make a good rec"
I usually make my charts with some kind of coherence.
Or yeah, you can pretend tago mago and L&GWAFIS are similar albums.
yeah, but you could really grab any Krautrock band and have a good time
what did my chart have to do with anybody here
also i'm zero fun in person and only leave the house to get food for my dog
jesus fuck you're dense, how long have you been here?
Thanks. I'll start with neu cause I see it a lot here.
Excuse my lazyposting.
Don't reee over how I don't like what everyone else likes. Recommend stuff based off of my taste.
>jesus fuck you're dense, how long have you been here?
have you seen your own chart idiot? you literally have no right to say that to anyone
fuck off you dadrock autist
shouldn't high schoolers be in summer school
Um, it's been a while, but try this, I guess:

Hey, it seems that you listen to quite a lot of shit music! Here's our board's ESSENTIALS list to get you started. Going through this list will help pave your way towards listening to good music. Let me know if you have any questions, and I hope that next time your chart will look a bit more similar to this one!
Trollposter, I gotta ask why post so ineffectively? As a troll, you haven't pissed off enough people in the thread. You're putting in far too much work in low quality shitposts that not many people are biting on. I don't mind shitposts in chart threads, but this, along with the chartspammer guy, is just boring and lazy.
Yeah I'm into Sup Forumscore. Big surprise. What do you think I'm even doing here, you fucking sperg? What's your chart, btw?
proof that Sup Forums is autistic as fuck.
CHECKED
I don't like Sup Forumscore.
Newfag to Sup Forums. Have a 3x3.
