I'm an 18 year old HS senior and will be joining the US Army after going through ROTC. I'll be deployed to some combat zone, have some fun times killing ragheads, and then collect pension for the rest of my life while you shitpost on Sup Forums about how angry interracial porn makes you. I'm literally going to get paid to shoot, work out, and get pussy for being a veteran.

I'm also planning on joining ROTC. I want to become a lieutenant in the Army Reserve. My goal is to become a police officer and I think military experience will look great on my resume.
Police officers get paid much more than military soldiers, and you can still retire with pension after 20 years of service.
I'm a semester away from graduating college. Thinking about joining Officer training school for AF. Become a drone controller. #Hoorah

The only deployment you'll have will be to FOBs playing sniper or mortar bait. And that's whether you enlist now or commission in 5 years.
