Best war movie?

Best war movie?

my first r movie I saw in theaters. a fucking experience to say the least.
FUCKIN IRENE!

Certainly best modern war movie. That is, a movie about a modern war

Tropa De Elite motherfucker
>implying the Drug War is not a modern war.

also, for the war on terror, The Kingdom is pretty great and sums it all up pretty well at the end.

>Best war movie?
Awesome action and definitely a great movie but not the best man.
>Platoon
>Apocalypse now
>deer Hunter
>Thin red line
>Das boot
Countless others are better man

No. Just another terrible Ridley Scott movie.

Full Metal Jacket
Apocalypse Now
Paths of Glory
Dr Strangelove is technically a war movie
Come and See
Bridge on the River Kwai
Lawerence of Arabia
Casablanca
The pianist (first holocaust film that didn't bore me to death)

The ending to The Kingdom was hamfisted as fuck. Literally babbys first war film

>Can you BE any more reddit?
I dont know what that means
Its not a shit tier flick so at this point i know you are just baiting. Now switch tabs and go back to browsing reddit shithead.

add Barry Lyndon and you've got essential war kino

also generation kill is the most accurate depiction of modern war according to my friend who was in iraq for 7 months, but I've never seen it

I actually have not seen Barry Lyndon but it's on my watchlist it's the only Kubrick film I have not seen except for Lolita

oh baby, I hope you have a nice theater setup. you're in for a treat, it's one of those movies I wish I could see again for the first time. don't want to talk it up too much because there's plenty of people who think it's shit, but it's one of my favorites from Kubrick.

You would know all about sounding like a faggot namefag.
