Thoughts on The Road?

Thoughts on The Road?

Why does he always play homosex in everything he's in?

Who?

Omar.

Ah.

>the kid grew up to look like this
Wew

>pssst, hey guy
>wanna be in a Hollywood blockbuster film?

...

Omar was his best. They put him here and there afterward and it only proved that he can't act

Seeing him in Ghostbusters is pathetic

*bloop* Papa? *bloop*

would make an excellent girl though

Kodikino

ayy lmao

...

The book is better

Does this look like /lit/ to you? Of course the book is better

I hate the product placement scene.
"Thank you god, for, what are they called?"
"Flaming hit cheetos"
"Thank you God for flaming hot cheetos and Mountain Dew"

Wrong movie?

How about the scene where they resume traveling

>How will we know how to get there Dad?
>Well Son, we'll have to follow The Road, directed by John Hillcoat (a Dimension Films production)

>it's hard living on...The Road (in RealD 3D)

Seriously ??

Whats the difference

They fuck in the book. In the movie that whole subplot is removed and it's just implied

Rewatch the movie. It's there. I'm not even trolling.

YO OMAR COMIN

>Watching The Road
>Willie Nelson starts playing

Absolutely ruined the atmosphere. Whose idea was that?

>annoying kid crying the movie

Literally all I remember is the cola scene and when the dad gets shot with an arrow(?)

Who fucks?

>at last I have truly become ...THE ROAD

>when the dad gets shot with an arrow
That bit bothered me
>get shot in the leg
>shoots the fucker with a flare gun
>stomps up there pissed as fuck
>there's a woman there
>she derides him for some fucking reason even though he wasn't the one that initiated force
>he decides not to kill her?1?!
>doesn't even take the bow
Wew

it's way more cloudy, like a reflection on human needs rather than a proper post apocalyptic novel

>she derides him for some fucking reason
because she was a coalburner and he killed her dick with the flare
>decides not to kill her
because the boy would've went full blown PAPA on him i think but that's just a guess

i feel you though

He'd be swimming in pussy/cock

>watching the road
>it ain't me starts playing

Apart from the atmosphere being much bleaker and more fucked up in the book, the thing that irked me the most about the movie was how whiny and, well, childish the kid was. In the novel he's just an empty shell of a person who barely talks or even acts human at all. Instead of an epic journey through Falloutâ„¢, it's more of a hopeless slog just to do something with their lives because the dad is too weak to shoot the kid and himself, even though he really wants to.

I guess you might be right

>Magneto shaving young nightcrawler

Funny, isn't it?

nic

????

the road is fucking hard
the road is fucking tough

DUDE IM BLACK AND I USED TO DO DRUGS LMAO

Guy Pearce was beautiful.
