Join the coast-guard. Im in a similar position OP and its what im about to do. I've heard you're less likely to get deployed in this branch and the worst you can expect is intercepting cuban, central and south american drug runners. 4 years and you can do whatever you want with your life

Try faking your death and running away to a 3rd world country that praises US cash and live your life being "wealthy"

I weigh 290lbs. Would I have to lose any weight before I sign up?

Yes you should probably take 6 months or so to prepare and get into a decent physical shape. Try going for walks until you're tired, just go as long as you can. If you get any cravings, try drinking tea/coffee without anything added. It will taste like shit, but should give you a decent buzz to distract you from the cravings and fill your belly.

For the past 3 months I've been drinking nothing but water, but if this will change my life for the better, I'll definitely dedicate the time. I'm literally going to get my gymshorts on and walking right now.

Keep drinking water as it will clear out any excess toxins from the coffee/tea but yes if you get cravings a cup of either should help curb the feeling. I'm at wits end with my situation and there doesn't seem to be any other options for people like us.

I could always try to move out by myself and live miserably, but your options seems to be the best way. Learn discipline and make money at the same time? It's a win/win.

How much left to pay the car?

Bernie Sanders was the only hope for millennial born into poverty having to avoid trading their freedom for stability. I can't wait another four years for the chance at healthcare, tuition, or the hope of a livable minimum wage. We've lost the best years of our lives because of a system that doesn't give a fuck about people who didn't have any inheritance.

2001 Honda, buy here pay here place.
Originally it was $4000. I paid $700 on it and now I have about $4000+ left (interest). I work at a dominos. I make alright money with tips. If I were to bare down and pay more, it would be about a year to fully pay it off. I already owe two months on my car insurance. Honestly, if I work overtime everyday I can pay off all of my bills this month and truthfully would be able to move out, but I'm worried about my car.

lol loser

You live in a country with great economic mobility, pretty low taxes and a relatively free market. The only things you need to do in order to avoid permanent poverty is to:

1. Finish school
2. Get a job
3. Don't have kids before you get married

If you can't do that, you deserve to die poor and miserable, sucking off a heroin addict for some spare change.

>economic mobility
The economies of the world don't even economize, the definition of which is the efficient utilization of resources with little waste, take a look around, everything is designed to fail so you have to replace it in every sector.

>what is intrinsic obsolescence

>finish school

I'll pass on 100k of debt for a degree that may confer no benefit.

>get a job

I have one.

>Don't have kids

Check.

>Free market

HAHAHA. Free markets are the biggest farce ever told. Every sector colludes to establish prices, the only freedom in the current economic markets today is the freedom for corporations to fuck consumers however they want.

I want to thank everyone here. I'm going for a walk. When I wake up earlier than normal tomorrow, I'm calling my local recruiter for information on a coast guard position.

Trips of truth.

>>Friend bums half a pack of cigarettes from me a day from home and work
>>Friend is passive aggressive when I tell him to buy his own packs

get him a damn ecig, $30/month for liquid and every few months a $5 pack of coils.

totally worth it

The biggest reason you have inefficiency in the market is because of government involvement.

Remove regulations and allow for completely free trade and you will have competitive capitalism.

Your socialist ideas aren't exactly working out so well in Venezuela, among many other countries.

Look, I'm all for trying out a truly libertarian government but under the current system, no government will be successful. The biggest reason for inefficiency is products are literally designed to fail in order to increase company revenue due to faster cyclical consumption. At this point, I'd be willing to try a libertarian confederacy or socialist democracy because the federalist corpratocracy has failed.

The great depression happened because products were originally designed to last as long as possible and after everyone owned one of everything, markets crashed because they were no longer selling anything. Our illogical society addressed this by beginning to design products to have a set lifespan in order to increase cyclical consumption. If we have to waste resources to make the current system work, perhaps we need a new one instead.

Bernie Sanders and Ron/Rand Paul were the harbingers of these alternative systems respectively. Perhaps next election people from our age group need to advocate harder for these men, despite their shortcomings. Business as usual for another 4 years would be an utter fucking disaster.

Fuck friends mom and manipulate her into kicking out her son

Seems to be helping the 1.3 billion people of Europe just fine, considering most of them have higher quality of living these days.

A car is just a tool to go where you have to.
If the situation is really unbearable, sell the car and buy a cheaper one, this way you'll be able to afford a place to live on your own. Put money aside for some time and buy a newer car if you feel like it.
That's what I'd do.

Grow weed easiest way to earn MONEY

I'm not a libertarian, even though I can see where they're coming from. I'm a classical liberal, and I want the government to focus solely on it's core duties, because I believe it has made everything else that it has touched start to deteriorate.

The great depression didn't happen because the stock market crashed. The economy had failed many times before that, and it had always recovered nicely.

After the stock market crash, the unemployment figures reached a peak of 9%, and after about a year they were down to 6,3%. Then the government decided to step in and suddenly the positive trend broke. Didn't take long before you guys hit double digits (landing at about 25% at it's peak) and you had one of the worst recoveries ever.

Which countries are you talking about?

I'm living in Sweden, and we're not a socialist country even though many Americans seem to think that (and many Swedes, for that matter). We have a market economy and a financial market less regulated than the financial market in America.

The only reason we can afford to entertain the thought of socialism is because capitalism and the industrialization of our economy has helped make us wealthy.

And I seriously LOL'd at that last statement.

How can you literally write 5 paragraph essay and fail to make even a single decent point? Congrats user, you did it. You didn't address a single thing i said and merely diverted the conversation.

My sister bought 3 years ago mercedes c230 2003 for 5000€

Show me your friends and I'll tell you who you are

As far as not being a loser anymore
>Written SMART goals at 2, 5 and 10 years
>Written monthly budget
>Buy tubes and tobacco to roll your own smokes , you'll save 100 a month

Because I don't see a problem with planned obsolescence. The people wanted cheaper products and so they got it.

Not to mention the fact that It creates millions of jobs and promotes new innovation and increased quality.

The way you create an efficient economy is to let people spend their money on what they want, instead of having someone else spend it for them.

Should have saved up money and bought a car

This.
Make REALISTIC plans. Short term goals and go get 'em

Wrong. Trump is your only chance.
Taxes in the order of magnitude that Bernie 'waait peeple dunno waht it neans to be pooah' Sanders proposes always hit the poorest class hardest. Socialists are usually very wealthy and don't pay taxes. Keeping your own earnings will lift you out of poverty if the tax cuts come through. High taxes prevent the poor and middle class of ever attaining self sufficiency and building capital

Maybe you should buy less avacado toast and aspargus water lattes

OP here. Just got back from walking. I feel great after the fact. I'm surprised that the thread is still up.
