So are we going to lose fast connections to Sup Forums due to net nuetrality?

also does this even work battleforthenet.com/

Yes. I think the one thing alot of people who argue for net nuetrality forget is that the ISP are owned by the companies that own most of the media. So by restricting net neutrality they are able to restrict their competitors. The second part is it also allows the media companies to bring the content of the internet more in line with their political and social ideals. Look at youtube and how channels have been dying because pewdiepie made a nazi joke and thus enabling the media companies to crush and effectively censor youtube. The same will happen with Sup Forums, because ISP will have the ability to throttle "offensive content," which Sup Forums is at the top of the list.

No. However, it may sway tech companies, as they tend to be data focused.

so what can we do

what does this mean where porn is concerned?

porn will suffer

in what ways? less porn? more controlled porn? harder to download and/or watch?

all of the above plus slower website speeds

its like a bad dream

Bumping for awareness?

seriously tho what can we do

net neutrality wasn't law a few years ago, nothing will fucking change, fuck off back to redd!t and watch some more john oliver

fuck u i would never go there, im just asking Sup Forumsro

welp, better dl all the lesbian I can

We need to DOS the entire internet

the whole bullshit narrative that's being spread is pretty much just liberals being liberals, assuming that the world will go to shit if their regulations aren't in place, even though this one has only been around for a short time

Um.. Yes it was? The internet was never not neutral until this point, at least not in the states. (title 2 was established in 1934)

Those fools, the Internet IS for porn.

They lock porn out of the Internet, we'll make a whole new Internet.

is it time to die

no it wasn't, title 2 didn't apply to the internet until 2015, the internet hasn't even been around for that long you dumbass, learn to fucking google

t. corporate shill

...

Yes, because the Internet was unregulated (ie. neutral) before then.

please let this be b8

Spread awareness in threads that try to spin net neutrality as some federal power grab, for one.. then just get informed and participate in mass protest.

If we lose net neutrality, say goodbye to your shitty weeaboo imageboard.

Also say goodbye to all your favorite alt-right sites. Cable and media companies will find a way to call them hate sites and give them either lowest priority or outright block them.

There is literally no way you can be against net neutrality as a consumer unless you're an ignorant faggot who doesn't actually understand the issue and just dickrides Trump/Republicans.

This WILL make you, as a consumer, lose one way or another. Either you'll wind up paying more for the same experience as you have no, or the level of access you had to the variety of sites that you had will be severely restricted. There is no way this benefits you at all. The very bets you can hope for is nothing changing, but having to pay more money for it. Make no mistake, if this repeal passes, something you have now is being taken away from you, one way or another.

Yes, and not just Sup Forums, but any bandwidth heavy service.

Without net neutrality, your ISP is gonna throttle Youtube so you can only watch videos in 360p unless you pay an extra $10 a month for "HD Youtube service"

All your games are gonna be slow as shit and have high ping unless you pay an extra $10 a month for the "high speed online gaming package"

Netflix is gonna jack up it's prices because without net neutrality, ISP's can charge them to get content to you.

There is literally no reason to support the removal of net neutrality unless you like giving your ISP more money for less service.

No, it is time to organize.

Exactly this. People need to realize that they are losing something if this passes. People hate it when they government takes shit from them. They're afraid the government is gonna take their guns, their healthcare, their money, etc. They need to understand that this is no different. If the repeal passes, the government is taking their internet. There is no positive to this. Something that you have now is being taken away from you.

Get fucking mad.

you couldn't organize a wet fart
sad cunts

So, you republicunts realize that if this passes, a ton of big internet companies are going to relocate to countries that don't have retarded internet laws, right? You fags are always on about muh economy, what do you think is gonna happen to that economy when Google moves to Canada or Europe?

>said the blind idealogue

That is exactly what said companies will do. They'll take their business out of America, just like manufacturing will when Trump stops them from firing people. They'll leave the country altogether and go to low-cost countries.

Good job Republicans.

I mean, by all means, I'm in Canada, our economy could use the boost, but it's not gonna be a fun time for you guys.
