can I get some sad folk music recommendations. Currently listening to Pink Moon, Carrie and Lowell, and For Emma, Forever Ago
Hey Sup Forums feeling suicidal
Try this, it always cheers me up.
not really folk though desu.
thanks for this, real chill shit
No probs man, it's relaxing af, although the first half of the album is better than the second.
Bearer Of Bad News- Andy Shauf
I promise you. Very sad.
And what OP listed was?
yeah but he was asking for folk so I was just clarifying.
Not folk but not a million miles away and definitely sad
>definitely sad
I agree, but probably not for the same reasons as you.
how about you reccomend the better buckley, which by the way would have actually been relevant to OPs request you fucking cockmuncher
Fuck you OP and your meme depression. Does it make you feel special?
Hey! Sup Forums is a friendly board!
Besides at least he's not a grimesfag.
This made me sad/happy
Alright man this sucks just try and hang on in there and listen to as much sad folks tunes as you can, you can talk to Sup Forums about it anytime you want
Here's some obvious reccs:
Elliott Smith - Needle in the Hay
youtube.com
Lord Kill The Pain - Red House Painters
youtube.com
The National - Sorrow
youtube.com
Kill yourself or get over it
Not folk you absolute fucking spastics Christ do you not know how to fucking read??? Get the fuck off my board.
I'm usually friendly and like discussing music, but I've got no time for cocksuckers like OP who want attention for feeling a bit sad.
Here's my go-to wallowing album, it's not his finest lyrical outing by any means, he seems to be pretty literal and follow a storytelling arc rather than his metaphorical stylings in his '60s albums. The instrumental and production are slick as fuck though, and his voice is incredible.
>Bon Iver - Bon Iver
Maybe not as sad as For Emma but is still a great folk album
Rec something yourself then.
what if he's genuinely suicidal though?
If they were genuinely suicidal they wouldn't be posting on Sup Forums asking for sad contemporary folk, they wouldn't have the energy or the focus to listen to music if they were so depressed their life no longer meant anything to them
idk man music is a powerful thing.
The Mark Holis album is folk, dimwit.
> the better buckley
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
thanks for that user. i needed a chuckle
>Folk
Go ahead and off yourself, OP.
Try bright eyes.
I'm wide awake, It's Morning is great to start with. You can try other albums like Lifted, collection of songs written and recorded, Fevers and Mirrors.
Essential suicidal acoustic, trust me op.
fuck you cockmuncher
>Actually enjoying Jeff Buckley unironically
He's not even an impressive pop singer user
>being this wrong
this album is the cutest thing in the world
