>everyone except him jumps out of the trench
>they all die
>gooks think they got all the Yankees
>he waits for the gooks to start leaving and opens fire
>kills them all
Don't you mean grandopa?
Mine were born in '36/'38
Grandopa was patroling the ukie border on his horse when all hell broke loose.
Ukrop monkies slaughtered half his squad in their sleep. Went back home, taken away to Ruhrgebiet to work in a mine, escaped two times. Started working in a local mine. Gestapo or whoever fucked off because he told him he was basically working for the reich anyway, doesn't matter if it was in Silesia or Dortmund.
Literally all i know., because everything went up in flames. Documents, photos, medals, orders, even the fucking uniform and sabre. Because commie secret service fucking ruskies should drop dead women children alike i will bomb moscow with pissbottles
Got blown up in Africa.
He was a good NCO from what I've herd.
Torpedo tube operator on a sub in the pacific. Was on the commissioning crew of his sub, sank mostly freighters and a Jap cruiser. Got tuberculosis, presumably from singaporean whores he mentioned once and only once. was honorably discharged.
Personally deck-gunned 30+ Jap Survivors from the cruiser....couldnt take them prisoner for sabotage fears/limited supplies. Couldnt leave them for the sharks/rescue.
He wasnt proud of it, but the skipper made everyone shoot a couple so everyone got a taste.
Got captured by russians, most likely killed
Keeping the age old tradition war graffiti alive.
I made sure to leave a little something for the next guys who go through kuwait
>border guard in ww2
>gets hit by bomb shrapnel in the thumb
>gets sent home due to injury
>is still alive to this day (84 i think)
my opa was a lucky bastard
Despatch rider. Got shot in the leg in 1944, rode on. He had a lot of insane stories, many of them involved a motorbike.
Pic related. Not him, but could have been.
All those poor Bugs, they said Opa killed over 6 million alone.
Stormed Normandy, and got shot twice and continued on into France as a scout then started taking Nazi medals off those he killed.
He has a whole box of German medals and after he passes away, they will probably go to my dad then I'll make a thread about them on Sup Forums.
My great-greandpa worked with the German to build the Atlantic Wall
>mfw he collaborated with NATO after the war to build military airport
Mr Finland I have a question(s)
Why is Suomi so depressing?
Why are Finns so gaunt?
>born in American
>sent to live in Germany with grandparents because parents were too poor to take care of him
>grows up in NS Germany
>in the Hitler youth. Too young to join the army though (15) in 1945
>after the war
>comes back to America because he was a legal citizen
>Drafted for Korea
He's had a pretty crazy life.
Great grandfather fought on western front in WW2, >Invaded France in 1940.
>Sent back to his hometown (szezcin/Stettin)
>Re-enlist for second round this time vs commies
>Goes to the USSR
>Returns home after the war
>Moves to France and dies there in 1971.
t.German decendant in Sweden
He was a marine in Korea
Kill algerian and Viet
Jews
My grandfather fought in Kakoda, killing the Japanese.
Mine was a hardcore commie who fought in Stalingrad, nothing too special I guess.
Going to school, I guess.
>Fought during Operation Uranus
>All of his friends retreated towards the city
>He ran away from it
>Fought in Iasi after the Coup d'Etat
>Fought in Budapest
>Got injured in Czechoslovakia and got sent home
>Aided the anti-communist resistance with food and training until the 60s
He was pretty based
What have the Jews done to you to make you like this?
I heard that when they piled up all the big and little coins the pile was more than 100 meters high
Considering the bloody cold and possibly sharks i think it was merciful.
Also read that as torpedo lube operator which got me thinking, do they grease torpedo bays? It's metal on metal after all.
How ?
just saw saving private ryan again. did your granpa tell you stories from d-day?, are the scenes from spr accurate?
Fought on the eastern front and then at the Tisza he was shot in the leg
You should let him know that he missed a few.
It was 1949, a liberal populist was killed, this caused a civil war between Conservatives and liberals and it was called *the dark age* or era oscura.
My Grandpa and his brother served as part of the conservative army keeping the roads and towns close to his city Safe.
At the end of the war he was able to keep a bunch of guns for himself
Well Algeria War and Indochinesse war .
I think they flood the tube before they fire it so there isn't much scraping
Brought multiculturalism, liberalism and other mentall illnesses to our beautiful country. These things cause depression.
>Worked on a ship
>Got torpedo'd and survived
>work on another ship
>got torpedo'd again and lived again
Bretty cool guy desu
On one side of the family he was supposed to be a radar operator but that clearly didn't happen because when he got Alzheimer's her started talking about how heavy the flamethrower was and how much of a stink it made and the noise was horrible. Got shot in the knees in Okinawa and spent the end of the war in a hospital.
Other side of the family he was a Seabee and built airbases all across the Pacific and spent a long ass time in the Philippines, probably got a whole herd of Flip relatives I don't know about.
But we got an uncle who was in Europe and either he liked to collect souvenirs or somebody isn't talking about something because we have three or four SS uniforms neatly hanging up in the attic.
Was in Burma, I think
>84
>born in 1932
Those 12 year old border guards are very effective
>my kids will never gather around the neighborhood WWII veteran and hear about his adventures in the Pacific War
Those were good times, I dont know how much of it was true but it was still great to hear from the greatest generation.
What will my kids have, Vietnam Veterans? Gulf War? Iraq War?
Man they get fugged over some good times.
He was a refugee from Karelia.
died on the ost front
Forgot pic
He was stationed at the Norwegian border.
He says he still hears the sound of the machine guns mowing down the young boys who they had do send back by force of arms when they tried to desert to their side.
Fucked Australian bitches while in the Navy. I still have pictures of him posing with Australian sluts.
Impregnated philipinos
To be honest, I dont really know. He described wooden planks that the torpedos would slide on into the tubes. Once inside the tubes, I think the water and pressure is enough to get them out without alot of friction.
He would describe the depth charges and turn white as a ghost. He said that you dont hear the one that gets you. Hearing the bursts come closer and closer to you, as you wait, perfectly still and noiseless to hide from the mine layers microphones.
He said they had to blanket party a guy because he cracked and started screaming.
One was in the Navy in the Pacific and the other was a paratrooper in Europe. The one in Europe came back from the war all fucked up.
I didn't meet him, but my Grandfather was a D-Day dodger and fought his way through Sicily and Italy.
Fought in Ortona, apparently he was hard as fucking nails from it.
he was stationed in india (fought for canada). not sure what he did
The only grand father I knew didn't serve in WW2, he was in charge of helping factories convert to war time production.
And his father didn't fight in WW1, I do not know why though. All I know is that he was just a simple farmer.
He drove a flamethrower tank in Korea and roasted nips out of caves, or so he told me.
He said they'd sure as hell have done it to him, so he didn't feel bad at all.
He pooed in loo
thats gay
...
Probably a failure on the Americans.
My grandpa was a Combat engineer in the Slovak Army, was captured on the eastern front and was a POW in Asrtakhan was relaesed in 46-7 and walked home from there, probably have some family in Ukraine :D :D
My Great Grandfather burned almost all his shit and refused to talk about the war when he got home. I only have a few hints that he actually saw some heavy shit, such as the Battle of the Bulge.
Fought in WWII, got captured by russians like many other soldiers after Hitler died and survived the gulag somehow. My father told me when he came back, he looked like he was already dead, starved to the bones and overall pretty fucked up etc. and they didn't expect him to survive the next year, which he somehow managed to do.
My grandpa was helping Jews.
I grew up with a verry nice Jew named Levi.
Now i Hate jews for what they have done to us. I Hate barbra spectre and 90% of all Jews but i still like Levi.
Levi was a good man.
He escaped a prisoner of war camp.

He fought in the Israeli War of Independence in the 40s. He removed kebab.
Actually my Grandfather was in the SS...
He worked as an electrician on a submarine from 1939 -1942
1943-1945 he never told me or my parents what he did in that years...
but we think it was maybe to much for him
to talk about it
Someone else in my family can't remember the relation was a POW in a Japanese Camp, apparently was captured in Hong Kong.
Came back extremely fucked up.
One was in forced labor the other was in a concentration camp
>he fought for Israel
Ok, I thought you were talking about WW2
He removed baguette during the colonization of North Africa
My grand-uncle got shot down in 1940 and spent the whole war in a PoW camp in Austria. Because he was RAF he was in a Luftwaffe camp which apparently was pretty comfy, he escaped twice but caught both times trying to cross enemy lines in Italy
Submarine service: either you die in dark can, or you live in one until your service is done. There's not much to talk about, because if anything fun happens then you won't be able to speak anymore.
most likely
took care of his farm. his brother's side on the other hand went full blown nazi and had a son in the ss
Lel
"Oh for fucks sake not again "
In what war? My great-grandfathers 3 brothers all died in WW1, as did his father and his fathers brother. He came home, and then he fought in WW2 with my grandfather and my grandfathers 2 brothers. Only my grandfather came home from that one.
The only thing my grandfather says if you ask what he did is "I fought". And all my great-grandfather ever said about his war was that "I served my King".
my opa did "not being born yet". he was born just after the war
Missed it by like a year.
sure. was he raped and killed 7 times by trees by any chance ?
Got occupied by germans
Old man was a polish catholic
>Pic related is old man with his parents in 1942
He was a Jew though.

Busy being neutral.
BTFO gommies in Malaya (just after the war)
>be my great-grandfather
>partisans start comming to town to take people to "a walk in the forrest"
>come to greatgrandpa's house in the middle of the night
>tell them to eat shit and fuck off
>partisan fags backed off
Also, as much as I know, my grandpa's elder brother was in some fascist formation, guessing Italian or so.
>Not working with the Germans or with the Allies to get shekels
Courageous but pointless
Got drunk with some fellow soldiers and got sent on a punitive mission during an air raid. Was the sole survivor. Devout Catholic ever since.
>Grampa was a gunner's mate on the landing craft for Normandy invasion
>Fished out the dead bodies
My grandfather was only 7 when WWII broke out. My great-grandfather was this guy
en.wikipedia.org
The English wiki page doesn't mention it but on the dutch it says he somewhat collaborated I guess? Was head of some commission during the occupation and was thrown in jail after the war.
He may not have fought at the front with the based Langemark battalion but I think few Flemish nationalists can fault him for his actions since he was such an active figure in the entire movement.
