ever since 2011 normalfags have been infecting Sup Forums, and all of Sup Forums! back in 2011 it was easy to make normalfags go away, but sometime around 2014 they outnumbered us!
things didn't really get bad until the 2016 elections though. there is a subreddit called /r/the_donald that is filled with trump supporting normalfags and when they were told about Sup Forums supporting trump they pretty much all migrated to Sup Forums, and from Sup Forums they started going into other boards. that's what really put the nail in the coffin
