Microtonal banana was only released once this year. You have been proven wrong.
Dude, listen to Idles-Brutalism and Emperor of sand. The former is great, the latter is pretty good also. Which releases are you waiting for?

>I'm a tasteless drone who loves sucking pitchfork's dick:the chart
Death Grips, Lcd Soundsystem, Beck and hopefully Steve Lacy
Btw I'll check these albums out, thanks for the recommendation
I like Steve Lacy, and his famous work ethic,
but that little ep wasn't too special.
Ryd is a hit tho.
nice gt ultra and colin stetson
Exactly, it's not even the best EP this year, how the hell is it a highlight
2016 was better though
What y'all excited for still?
>Everything Everything - A Fever Dream
>Leprous - Malina
nice but where on your chart are Richard Dawson - Peasant and Elder - Reflections of a Floating World?
>i care about pitchfork: the comment
right here
pitchfork will not put any of these on their year-end list
they didn't even review Steve Lacy's Demo which is the best on that list
that Jay Som album is the most boring thing I've heard this year
arca is horrible
girpool is 6.5/10 at best, ultra soft and derivative
mac demarco disappointed
bottom left?
what's your aoty?
Xiu Xiu - Forget. I loved it, but also I don't listen to much Xiu Xiu so my opinion doesn't matter
Only one album on there is good
which one?
Why do you guys post without actually saying anything? faggots.
I have no idea at this point
it's between Oxbow - Thin White Duke and Agliers - The Underside of Power, although I'm surprisingly enticed by the Mura Masa album that came out today
Thin Black Duke sorry about that
Haven't heard the first and last one, what do they sound like?
That Algiers album is really good, I agree.
Thin White Duke is probably best defined as hard, noise rock, and experimental rock, maybe a bit of punk. People have been tossing around "avant garde" but I don't think it should get that. The vocals are pretty unique.
Mura Masa's s/t is a straight up dance album, I guess tropical house? I think the production is pretty great throughout. It's got Charli XCX, A$AP Rocky, NAO, A. K. Paul, and Damon Albarn on it, as well as Bonzai, Jamie Lidell, Tom Tripp, and Christine and the Queens. The only feature that isn't that great is Desiigner.
It is a dance album but it's the best dance album I've heard in a long ass time. Nugget, 1 Night, and What If I Go? are earworms.
I did like that new Charli XCX album too, but I liked Mura Masa a lot more
fuck it's Thin Black Duke
it's just a reflex to write "white"
THE RETUUUUUUUURN OF THE

I can't wait for the next OPN
what's the one on the xiu xiu's right? that one with buildings artwork
and the one which is red? that has a man between two guitars
buildings one is Sun Kil Moon's 'Common as Light and Love Are Red Valleys of Blood'
