The heat of the fire rising ( common thermal dynamics) would've weakened the structural support from the floors the fire raged and UP.

When the building collapses we see the reverse of what logically should've happened. We see the top part of the building presumably crashing through the lower ( STRUCTURALLY INTACT AND DESIGNED TO CARRY THE FULL WEIGHT OF THE ENTIRE TOWER) part.

If fire was the actual reason for the loss of structural strength we should've seen the top part crumbling on top of the lower half, as if it was a smaller tower collapsing on its own and the lower part mimicking the foundation.

It probably would've taken down a couple of floors but for the structurally damaged top part to crash through the entire intact tower defies Newtonian physics on more ways than one.

For example, simple Newtonian physics would predict that the force with which the top half destroys a floor on the lower half it also would crush and destroy a floor on itself.

and that's even disregarding the weakened steel from the fire affecting the top half.
