Pick one

...

Blue, but I'm crying.

shit
blue but I hate you

Blue
>Low
>The Queen is Dead
>Disintegration
>Loveless

purple

Easily blue

>Low
>Hounds of Love
>Loveless
>Queen is dead
>Stone Roses, Joh Division, The Cure and New Order

Blue.

blue

Smash that blue button tee bee aich. The only things I'd really miss from the other side are Remain In Light, The Modern Dance, and maybe Daydream Nation. Red doesn't have Kate or Cocteau Twins, so it's an easy loss.

red easily

Metal Box could be the only album under blue and it would still be a no brainer.

>all this blue for some queer rock
the true answer is red. blue only has metal box

Blue like so fucking far.

Could have trade Disintegration for Marquee Moon, RiL or The Ascension easily though

Red, but just barely.

Red.
Both have some great albums, but red has The Modern Dance, Spiderland and The Ascension. Also blue has 4 heavily overrated albums, wheras red only has 2

>wire
>gang of four

>queer

Red, but it's harder than watching my mother die

>art punk
>not queer

>Not picking blue because it's queer
What are you, a straight?

Is the difference supposed to be that Blue is British artists and Red is American?

I literally don't know any of those albums

How did I not notice that?

Ahah, wow. I never noticed how much I was biased for Brits.

Wow, American music is shit.

Both together, happily.

So basically:

Blue
>Moody, urgent, evocative, thought-provoking

Red
>herky jerky SO RANDOM shit or just flat out "fuck you XD" noise

Are yanks just autistic or something?

>the modern dance
>remain in light
>spiderland
>daydream nation
>you're living all over me

I have to go red.

easily red but fuck dinosaur jr, pixies and nirvana

Why though, Because they're slightly popular?

shhhhhhh

>chameleons
>this heat
>wire
>the rest
definitely blue

so its UK vs US?

yeah, the era from 1977 to 1991 circa

>blue
>0 9/10s

>red
>6 9/10s

>there are people who still defend blue

>>herky jerky SO RANDOM shit or just flat out "fuck you XD" noise
name one album on the red side that's like that

Blue

blue
>8 8 9 8,5
>8,5 8,5 7,5 7,5
>7 7,5 7,5 7
>9 7,5 7 9

red
>8,5 9 9 8,5
>8,5 8 8 8
>8 9 9 8,5
>9 8,5 7,5 9

red wins

Talking Heads
Pere Ubu
Residents
Suicide

Yanks don't know the meaning of subtlety. They think being retarded is automatically artistic as long as they're doing it on purpose.

>what is loveless

Blue without hesitation. I only like one album out of red.

All shit

but what part is less shit

Not a single album on there I'd force myself to sit through again.

What music do you like? just out of intrest

Everything but rap and country.

Blue easily, the only thing I would regret about not picking red is Branca, and that's it.

bump

>Metal Box
>Unknown Pleasures
>Entertainment
>Substance 1987
>The Queen Is Dead
As much as I love Marquee Moon and Remain In Light, I have to go with blue.

Red. I'm only losing Bowie, This Heat, and Talk Talk. Not that bad, considering how the only bad albums on the red side are Nevermind and Doolittle, the rest is all 7.5/10 and above.

we all know 80s uk rock/guitar pop was better and more interesting than usa

Blue, but i will really really miss some albums from Red

>Let it Be
>Doolittle
>Suicide
>Spiderland
I gotta go with red but I'm not fucking pleased about it

Red has Sonic Youth and Pere Ubu so I'll go with that one. Blue only has four really good albums and none of them are as good as either of those two.

red
>spiderland
>you're living all over me
>let it be
>zen arcade
>marquee moon
>daydream nation

blue
>stone roses
>loveless
>pink flag
>entertainment
>spirit of eden

nearly impossible to choose but i'd go with Red

Fuck off with your mu-core circlejerk.

keep red

JUST LIKE HONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY

very close, but id have to say blue

Red, but just barely.

Red

red but only because blue has the smiths, wire, and joy division

What's wrong with Wire

they're boring brit punk

Blue. I'll really miss Remain in Light, but Spirit of Eden and Script of the Bridge are just too good.

Blue... just for Low.

Low has helped me in a lot of sad times.

very obviously red what the fuck
>marquee moon
>suicide
>not available (which btw is top 5 albums ever)
>remain in light
>the ascension
>murmur
>let it be
>zen arcade
>double nickles
>you're living all over me
>daydream nation
>doolittle
>spiderland
the only meh album on red is nevermind, and the other two I don't know unfortunately

red, almost easy.

KYS.

> not a 9/10, but a 6/10

so you're a normie, with normie tastes. noted

blue is ten levels above red

blue

blue

red for sure

Blue

Ehhh I'm gonna have to say red
This is painful though
Loveless is my favorite album here though
Low comes in a bit behind
The whole red is albums I like a LOT though.
Not very big on The Queen is Dead or The Stone Roses
The rest of the red is fantastic

So, American or British 80s post-punk?

I like everything on here except The Cure and Talk Talk, though Minutemen, Cocteau Twins, and Kate Bush aren't really my thing. So point to the red team.

For stuff I absolutely love, it's Gang of Four, The JAMC, Wire, and The Chameleons on blue, and Television, Husker Du, R.E.M., Suicide, and Slint on red.

Hesitantly, I have to go with red/'murica
