Nikola tesla is pretty famous too

Skandenberg and Stalin

he wasn't a slav

>Stalin
>Slav
lolwut

He was Macedonian.
Macedonia = Slavic.

Neither were Marie Curie and Frederic Chopin.

>macedonian
Macedonia is essentally Bulgaria. It isn't even in the region of today's macedonia (which lays south from there, in Greece)
The old Macedonia that Alexander the Great was from was on that land, yes, but the people have nothing to do with current macedonians. In 6th century, so way after Alexander, slavic tribes, mostly from the east settled in those lands, and those are the people that live there nowadays.

As for Maria Curie Skłodowska and Fryderyk Chopin, both were Poles that emigrated from the occupied country, so they were obviously slavs.

He was just baiting you (and try to triggers Macedonians).

>Skandenberg
>famous

no

I just wanted to have serious discussions about international culture

Chopin, Copernicus ?
both are polish.

copernicus was prussian, closer to german not russian poles

His father was from Kraków, and his mother was from Toruń. Both cities were polish. His mother's father apparently even fought the teutonic order, too.

He was born in Toruń, Poland, studied in Poland, and died in Poland, not to mention the fact that during his lifetime Prussia became a Polish fief.

I don't know why'd you call him a Prussian.

Poles are WENDS not SLAVS

and he spoke Polish?

> Copernicus was the child of German-speaking parents and grew up with German as his mother tongue.[136][137][138]

>Similarly, historian Norman Davies writes that Copernicus, as was common in his era, was "largely indifferent" to nationality, being a local patriot who considered himself "Prussian".[151]

WE

>this coming from WE: the country

>Copernicus is postulated to have spoken Latin and German with equal fluency. He also spoke Polish,[27] Greek and Italian.[28][29][30][b] The vast majority of Copernicus's surviving works are in Latin, which in his lifetime was the language of academia in Europe. Latin was also the official language of the Roman Catholic Church and of Poland's royal court, and thus all of Copernicus's correspondence with the Church and with Polish leaders was in Latin

>as was common in his era, was "largely indifferent" to nationality
Obviously, that usually is the case, which is why birthplace or the place of study are more important factors.

>considered himself "Prussian"
first time hearing about that desu, but:
>His family stood against the Teutonic Order and actively supported the city of Toruń during the Thirteen Years' War. Copernicus' father lent money to King Casimir IV Jagiellon of Poland to finance the war against the Teutonic Knights
Doesn't sound very pro-Prussian.
