BWEEEEEEEEEEE

Got dragged to this the other night. (I guess it's what I get for having friends.) A lot of things wrong with it, but the main thing that bothered me was that there was almost nothing to establish Bourne as the good guy and the CIA as the villians. The main character just doesn't stand for anything or try to accomplish anything for anyone but himself.

AYO HOLD UP
YOU TELLIN ME
THAT HE SOME KINDA
JASON BOURNE?

Isn't that what makes the good guy the good guy?

camerawork was horrible

Nowhere else to go but bourne cross team up. destablizing government heads once and for all and both vanish into the night for good.

there is just nowhere left for the franchise to go and this one showed it

It never really had any charm.

never saw the other one? is it worse than the original matt damon?

honestly i like the very first bourne and the one with the manlet as lead, but none of the others

no the original bourne identity was great.

him not knowing why he thinks like a super soldier and slowly uncovering his origin was great.

legacy was better than this one, worse than first 3

plus the female in the original had a certain charisma beyond her looks and their relationship had good chemistry - none of the later ones had that .

they shoe-horned that shitty Mtv actress in the later ones

>The main character just doesn't stand for anything or try to accomplish anything for anyone but himself.
you're right.
now it may be made on purpose, and let us think that there's a sequel to this episode where Bourne is gonna realize himself.
10 bucks.

note that this is not going to save this episode from its general lack of everything tho.

it was better than Legacy

It was not needed at all. I find it odd Damon and Greengrass actually agreed to it.

Also, Bourne using a spy gadget to listen in on a CIA car is stupid though.

Maybe I missed something but why did the asset go on a rampage is a seat can when he left the convention centre instead of just sneaking away? He was already outside and no one noticed him.

...

...

It stopped being charming after the first one.

oh yes i forgot about the german bourne waifu she was great. a blueprint for the quality female sidekick

ah yeah the lola rennt girl. she was bretty gud

>I suddenly remember my Dad
>My Dad started Treadstone even though it's never been mentioned in any of the other four movies
>Nevermind he's dead
>Hey there's that assassin who killed him
>This time... it's personal

Plot was a bit shit. Script just wasn't there this time. Killing off the blond chick was a bit meh too, felt too much like when Marie died.

>The Asset plows through civilian traffic, injuring many and possibly killing some, and ends up crashing into a casino

That ending chase was way too over the top for an espionage flick. Should have been a small on-foot chase, followed by the fist-fight at the end. Would've had the exact same impact.

>Turns out the Asset killed his father

Cliché as fuck

Where were the fight scenes, how do you fuck up the best thing about this series

JESUS MOTHERFUCKING CHRIST, HOLY MARY MOTHER OF GOD, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE, WOW, HOLY SHIT, WOAH, GOOD HEAVENS, HOLY MOLY, GEE WILLIKERS! AI CARUMBA, GOODNESS GRACIOUS, BY JOVE, THAT'S JASON FUCKING BOURNE!

Is it over for Bourne?
