Yupp to both new york dates :)

Portland fuck yes

SF reppin

any girls in NYC tryna fucc

Al Jorgensesn is a libtard pussy in his old age

Fuck, i'll miss it
Ministry live are beyond awesome, dont know how they pull it off but get ready to get your ass blasted by uncle Al

Worcester ww@

Why Worcester, MA? Seems random.

do death grips concerts even get sold out since people below the age of 21 can't go to them?

Every single one in new york is usually sold out in an hour

CLEVELAND HELL YEAH

What a weird bill.

I was a huge Ministry fan back in the day and saw them a couple times (once with Helmet and Sepultura) and they put on a great show. I dunno, maybe they still do, but its been a quarter century since their recorded output was anything but embarassing.

I just can't imagine current Ministry fans giving much a duck about new music like Death Grips, and its hard to imagine DG putting on the intense show they are known for as an opener in a larger venue.

Seems like DG is just doing this one for the money, and Ministry is just hoping some of DOg's relevance rubs off on them.

Paladium is a decent venue

>DOg's

Harumph. Still training the ducking spellcheck on my new phone

DG's, obviously

An industrial metal band's fans wouldn't like hip hop with very heavy industrial and metal influences? What the fuck is wrong with you?

Second biggest city in New England, geographically in the middle too.

Fuck that though its a boring city and the entire show is just going to be kids from Fitchburg State/UMASS.

Should've played Boston or Portland, Maine.

Souce: Went to UMASS, Gramma lives there

both these bands are washed up

this just confirms dg isn't even hip hop like i been telling u faggots

>Mfw I live in an irrelevant capital city in an irrelevant province in Canada that no bands ever pass through

No, just that the typical Ministry fan is a nostalgic genXer that won't give any new band a fair shake.

And anyone who goes for DG and isn't familiar with Ministry isn't going to think much of themnow, as old and washed up as they are.

Doubt Ministry will play anything from the 2 last shitty albums since they already played them full during their last tour and Al already hates them (as usual).
Rly curious of what will their setlist be, maybe the do "Test" with MC on vocals, that might be interesting

halifax?

I hope Ministry plays some Surgical Meth Machine material

youtube.com/watch?v=SYQIjmKXByg

Regina

do musicians just hate VA

Williston, ND reporting

I feel your pain

Have you met Unkle Adams?

Where are you getting this information from? I would still fuck with their late 80s/early 90s stuff.

I can not say I have. This guy looks pretty cringy and I'm sure his music is the same.

Nice trips btw

Rip my guy. You're even worse than I am. We're at least getting GnR in August but only because of our new stadium.

They were great then, but have been shit since.

Are there many new Ministry fans? Im out of touch somewhat but it doesn't seem so to me. Most of my younger friends don't know them at all, just like my older friends don't know DG (my older friends are just now stumbling onto Die Antwoord videos)

Ministry is cheesy garbage but I'll go for Death Grips

Your friends must be massive plebs
Ministry did some gr8 stuff since then and where always amazing live, saw them a couple of years ago expecting it to be shit and it was one of the best experiences I had.
Even of you never heard anything post 1992 you will have a blast. Most songs from the "bush trilogy" sound like "just one fix" on steroids anyways, and thats a good thing

I don't know how to feel about this. I want to be excited, but Al is just so fucking old... and his recent albums are so bad

Everything I've heard post 92 has sucked

I completely gave up about the time they were in AI

Well, if I do really want to see a tour, I have my choice of Minneapolis, Seattle /Portland (20hr Amtrak ride) or Denver (14hr drive).

So there's that.

Me too, but I recently rediscovered them and the bush trilogy is great, getting rid of Paul was the best thing Al did. Filthpig/DSOTP are really good (although the Sphinctour was shit). I agree that anything post Cover Up is cringeworthy, but the guy can still give an awesome show, hes like Lemmy in that sense, only he can still play for more than 40"

21+ fucking bullshit
see me at seattle god dammit

Who are you planning on going to see?

are all of the shows 21+?

which ones are 21+? i know portland is and im bummed, i have to drive to seattle which is all ages

not sure but a lot of people are saying they are, i'm hoping to go to the worcester one but can't really find much info on that one

looks like im good

worcester is all ages according to the palladium site
see you there

sweet, see you there user!

...

Anyone /texgrips/ here

see you at h-town

>2017
>still listening to death grips
disgusting

oh shit thy coming to my shithole woostah first, nice

then you would know it's not a boring city, it's a fucking dangerous shithole, lived here my whole, actually posting form the WRTA station right now

Dallas here, been to the venue before and I think DG's got it covered in terms of presence

Are DG shows 18+ I got a few underage buddies who might want to go.

He's the korn of rap.

>tfw this means death grips won't do smaller venues in the UK this year

I'm writing this extra text because I posted this same comment in an inferior thread.

>I got a few underage buddies who might want to go.
suuuuuuuurrre.

Yeah, 16 year old brother, 17 year old band mate and 19 year old me.

Fuck, I hate the south. Brb gonna go kms.

God fucking damnit
Dallas' venue is fucking garbage
worst venue in the dfw
Fuck this shit

>tfw warfield

I must have stumbled into 2012 again.

I like warfield

hay pal

ya there headlining show there was awesome last September but i won't be going again.

how will DG even compete?

youtube.com/watch?v=2nkUtYNBSlQ

Saw Death Grips in 2012 and it was one of the best shows I've ever been too, but man... their music has just been not worth keeping up with lately, and Ministry is so tired

nah it totally is

I saw Ministry few months ago and it's still a great band live

any anons know where to get a fake ID?
help a 18 year old portland boy out.

Steroids was fantastic

just sneak in

should i go to philly or pittsburgh?

how?

yip.....christchurch ,,,new zealand...september //// minjstry and ?? its been 20+years..long wait

wonder if the're gonna play this one
youtube.com/watch?v=bWZnhproNAY

I'm El Paso so I'll go to ABQ

tfw Saskatoon

how much do you guys think tickets will be?

was half expecting them to return around October, but i guess we had Field Day

Death Grips at Port City Music Hall would be hype, a little small though.

Does DG usually have merch at shows

>the korn of rap
you mean korn?

Greetings, I'm going to my first DG concert (Ljubljana) pretty soon, and I was wondering If I should wear ear plugs? Any experiences?

>tfw Onision banged the daughter of the frontman of Ministry
Really makes me think...

The pittsburgh venue, stage AE, is great. I saw travis scott there in may and the venue was almost the perfect size. We got decently close with pretty much no effort and even at the back you still weren't too far from the stage.

Might go to the Kansas City one. Are balcony seats worth paying for/reserving? I'd like to observe the crowd and hear the music more clearly without having to wear earplugs, plus my dad might be coming with.

>tfw planning on going to the Dallas show
w-whats the problem with the Gas Monkey venue?

Phoenix here, definitely planning to go

Going to philly for sure

>world capital of live music
>everybody skips your city to go to SA, Dallas or Htown
thats fine though, not that into ministry and id rather see hella or bygones than dg

im going to philly

Someone come to the Detroit one with me

really

I have no friends

I'll be there user

Yes, you should.

I saw them at riotfest without them and was deaf-ish for about 3 days in my right ear, wouldn't recommend

>.
I tried so hard to like Filth Pig when it came out, but just couldn't. Kinda liked the cover (Lay Lady Lay, was it?) but just hated the rest. Tried listening to it like 10 years ago and still didn't like it.

Dark Side I also hated, when it came out I worked on a student film in Chicago with a guy involved with engineering it and he talked mad SHIT about it and Al

That's literally the only way artists get paid...
