I never fucking flinch at emotional movies, but this one in particular is just so fucking good at hitting the right notes man.
Like, I feel depressed after watching it.
Sup Forums BTFO
I didn't get why people were sad by this. The whole situation was pretty pathetic.
pathetic how?
If you couldn't tell that he was Jewish just from him then you are not very observant.
Im still hoping he only whipped out the jewish mother card to get back into the industry after shitting on the oscars
>watch a sentimental film
>depressed
You're moved, OP, not depressed. The kind of depression your experiencing is actually a kind of pleasure. Get a grip and stop being so self-indulgent.
i love the music from this film. arcade fire did an amazing score.
The only feeling I had while watching this was the overwhelming urge to shoot the faggot in the head. A relationship with an algorithm? Seriously?
Yeah I couldn't really get into it
Hollywood is 95% Jewish.
Welcome to Earth.
What would you say?
>those eyes
i'd dump the biggest load in her
>"""alphas""" on Sup Forums
Times change; the idea of a relationship with someone you've never met in person on the other side of the world would have been considered ludicrous to the point of insanity 100 years ago but, thanks to the internet, it is now within the realms of acceptability.
I thought the film was done very well, everything was realistic, tasteful and carefully crafted to create a believable world, even down to the fashion of the times
The correct answer is:"Yes, I will just fuck you, and not call you like other guys."
Her response:" Shewwwww, that's good. I was worried you were going to be all clingy and shit, and I'd have to file a restraining order. Thank you for being honest."
No, it's still considered ludicrous to the point of insanity, people just don't say anything because they feel sorry for them.
The movie was shit in my opinion. The only thing I liked was the futuristic yet retro atmosphere.
All interactions with the OS felt forced and cheesy. 'Emotional' parts were dumb, most of it was boring or super cringy. I could hardly sit through the imaginary sex scenes.
I laughed really hard near the end, though.
>"How many relationships are you in?"
>"600"
I lost my shit
If you were emotionally connected to this film you have an incredibly warped sense of reality
were all algorithms user
If you break up with your OS and it starts fucking with your emails and shit to get revenge are you entitled to a refund if it's still in warranty?
Is this how people really feel about this movie? I'm just a fucking delusional baby then?
the most real part of the movie was when his date said "You're a really creepy guys" and he responds "N-no, i'm not..."
No we're not, piss off.
>being this naive
we're literally programmed by nature, mouthbreather.
this movie was really meh
I fully enjoyed the film, and had quite an emotional overload at the time. It was all well done.
Now, having said that I have a hard time accepting a person carrying on such a relationship without sex. I mean I imagined Scarlett Johansson during their verbal "sex scene" and without that I seriously doubt I'd felt anything.
>"WTF THIS ISN'T A BANE THREAD!!!?!?!"
We just didn't relate to it user. If you did, that's fine and I'm glad you liked it.
I didn't like how everyone becomes a hipster in the future. Too bleak to watch.
kek
>say
I would "hmmmhmmm" ambiguously while tearing off her clothes.
If she pressed 5 times in a row, say "you just reminded me! I need to call someone, unless... no, let's just stay busy for now."
This movie was very mediocre and dull. I couldn't help but to think that maybe the movie would've been more realistic if it featured a 30 year old fat guy with a huge neckbeard living on his parents' basements and the movie was called "Waifu"
And you know what? If those were the only changes but the tone and acting and story were the same the movie would've been critically panned.
It's just generic and dull. Pretentious with nothing to offer. 0/10 you have shit taste, faggot.
what does it pretend to be?
We have instincts not algorithms. A machine cannot defy its algorithms.
It's just another form of simulated affection; people who have a pet or visit prostitutes are doing the exact same thing.
Virtual girlfriend apps and games have existed for a long time, OS 1 is just a continuation of people's desire to feel a connection in an inhospitable society
>was very mediocre and dull
What? Like your post?
Except entering a long term relationship with an AI is dangerous for society. We need to reproduce to survive.
>over population
>keep reproducing
I disagree.
A character study on human relationships and its emotional dependence on teschnology, as well as "supposedly" a look on what happens with advanced AI.
In reality is no more different than the anons in Sup Forums fighting all day about whose waifu is a shit
The guy has no drive to make himself entertaining to women. Yet he wants to be valued highly for just being alive and for admitting he is valueless to all those around him. So the program rewards his stagnation and he doesn't change. It's an entitled expectation however unfair reality is and people are unfair too for advocating the opposite of reality in that every one is equal.
With that logic you could make the same point about homosexuality
I agree that it is unhealthy and unnatural but so are countless other things in our present society that are viewed not only as completely normal but as something that should be encouraged
When did not engaging in degeneracy actually really become degeneracy.
Well I think homosexuals should be shot so....
...
>I laughed really hard near the end, though
t. bitter virgin
>Just watched Her
heh cuck.
We're not talking about society, retard. It doesn't have to apply to everyone
here, I come to Sup Forums to discuss cinema, not to sling the memes, but LTRs are ridiculous.
no they're not
...
The only acceptable course of action in this situation is to just kiss her and not say anything.
>"How many relationships are you in?"
>"600"
This always makes me laugh. It's almost as if someone saw the cuck meme in Sup Forums and decided to make a waifu movie out of it.
LDRs, rather. If it began online, and stays online, it's an RPG.
yeah. the blonde girl was probably the worst part for me. all these characters reek of nu masculinity and nu feminity, and there's no hint at all that it's a bad thing, no hindsight on these post post modern people that could have made the story a bit more interesting.
