do you feel safer when you conceal carry your gun?
how many guns do you have?
how much does having a gun change your life?
As a british subject I want nothing more than to be able to own a semi auto rifle and conceal carry a handgun for self defence, but of course these are illegal in my shit hole of a country, so please let me live vicariously on your freedom and tell me about your guns

Im from the socialist republics of CA so CC is foreign to me. Guns are pretty fun to shoot. But they're just tools. At the end of the day it makes me sad that I live in a spic infested hole that makes me need a gun. Please stop your browning, UK. It won't end well.
Gabriel White
Hey UK.
Feels great

My state is faggy and doesn't allow concealed unless you pay a lawyer to convince the state you need it.

Hi.
> what is it like to own a gun? It's normal. Doesn't really cross my mind usually.
>do you shoot your gun often? I don't shoot as often as I like, but once every few months right now because I have been pressed for time. I need to get my front sight adjusted, which apparently is soldered in place, so I need to go to a gun shop to get it taken care of. It's a bit of a drag to shoot with Kentucky wind age all the time.
>do you feel safer when you conceal carry your gun? I don't ccw because I don't own a pistol yet. First getting used to gun safety, cleaning, storage, maintenance with a rifle. Will probs buy a small pistol in august.
>how many guns do you have? I have one rifle.
>how much does having a gun change your life? From owning a gun I've become more comfortable in general with firearms, I understand that it's actually pretty challenging to be accurate. It's also really fun to try and improve accuracy, it takes a lot of concentration, practice, and is really a sort of whole-body exercise.

are you in washington? I thought the PNW was pretty based for gun laws
can I marry you for a green card? we don't have to elope... unless you want to hehe ;) but seriously it's incredibly difficult for a white european to move to america for a better life and I don't understand why

1. Pretty common where I live. Never viewed it as exceptional. It is a tool.
2. Not as often as I would like. Making it out to the range can be a challenge. I do shoot when visiting my parents in the country.
3. I conceal carry every day. I don't necessarily feel safer -- it's not a deterrent. I do feel like I am more inclined to de-escalate confrontations should they arise. It's nice knowing I have the edge in the event of an unavoidable act of crime.
4. I have several, but don't feel comfortable giving an exact number. Muh privacy
5. It makes me feel more responsible, but other than that not much at all.
Christian Lopez
It is the best feeling in the world not being cucked by government forces for self defense.

>do you shoot your gun often? Once a week.
>do you feel safer conceal carrying your gun? Not particularly. Conceal carry is good for peace of mind, but most situations where you'll have to pull it, odds are you're dead before you can, or if you fuck up, you're dead.

Here in Alaska you don't need a permit to CC. As long as you're not a felon you're good to go. I regularly carry. I Hope never to have to use it but it's nice to know it's there.
Gun ownership is extremely common here. So much so that not owning a firearm is probably less common.

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I’m the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re fucking dead, kiddo.

I love having house filled with guns in safe, If niggers come on my lawn they are dead, dont have to worry bout muslims
yeah, it really isn't as bad as Sup Forums memes would have you believe, you can go about your daily business in peace, the 'get a life bin your knife' and 'weapon sweeps find bicycle wheels' are cherry picked disasters
so what I can gather from this thread is that a gun won't really change my life as much as I imagined/romanticised, it is no different to owning any other tool
but I still want one and I still want to live in america, I spent a year studying abroad at university of illinois and I loved it

>what is it like to own a gun? Feels good mang. Having the power to end someone elses life is great. do you shoot your gun often? Mainly my FAL and Garand. I own 6 AR's and 2 AK's. do you feel safer when you conceal carry your gun? Yes, has actually saved my ass more than once.
how many guns do you have? 6 AR's, 2 AKs, 1 FAL, Springfield Armory G3, 2 Garands, 4 glocks, and a variety of revolvers. how much does having a gun change your life? I get to act like im a door kicker when arma 3 bores me.

It gives you a sense of control and power, since you know that you can deal with pretty much anything that walks through the door (in theory at least). You also feel a certain bond with all men who have wielded arms in the past, the smell of gunpowder has been present at every momentous battle for hundreds of years.
Brayden Ward
>hi america Hi Britain.
>what is it like to own a gun? Pretty cool.
>do you shoot your gun often? I try to go to the range or someone's land to shoot at least once a week. I haven't been hunting for a few years but I'm going to try to get back into it this year, which will give me another outlet for shooting.
>do you feel safer when you conceal carry your gun? Kinda. It's more important to avoid conflict with people altogether but having a last resort is comforting.
>how many guns do you have? 6. Two each of pistols (HK and S&W, both 9mm), shotguns (Remington 20ga that was my first gun, Sears and Roebuck 16ga that was my grandfather's), and rifles (Marlin Model 60 .22 that was my father's, Polish M44). Going to get more once I've got some extra money saved up, building an AR15 this year and probably going to get some more old military rifles for range fun.
>how much does having a gun change your life? Not as much as someone with no firearms experience might think. My parents liked to go hunting when I was growing up though, so I've been around guns all my life.
For me it's mostly just another hobby that gives me something to do on the weekends and sink my disposable income into. Ammo can be kinda expensive, but I enjoy pretty much everything to do with shooting: the smell of gunpowder, the kick of my rifle, working to improve my groupings, being able to hunt for my own meat, even cleaning them at the end of the day has its own special charm. Knowing that I'd have an advantage if shit were to ever hit the fan is just an added bonus.
Angel Morgan
>hi america >what is it like to own a gun? Feels good man >do you shoot your gun often? Not as often as I'd like because of college shit >do you feel safer when you conceal carry your gun? Maine CC law is based, we have constitutional carry thanks to lepage, who incidentally triggers libs almost as much as Trump here. >how many guns do you have? Just one for now, but I lost it in a boating accident >how much does having a gun change your life? It's a nice bit of security, and shooting is a useful skill and fun as hell 10/10 >As a british subject I want nothing more than to be able to own a semi auto rifle and conceal carry a handgun for self defence, but of course these are illegal in my shit hole of a country, so please let me live vicariously on your freedom and tell me about your guns

Watch In Search Of The Second Amendment. The narrator is a liberal lawyer who bought a gun as part of the civil rights movement. All the major legal and historical questions are addressed fully. The spiritual and moral aspect of firearms is under-discussed. Basic gun safety (the first three Cooper rules) models a way of thinking very different to what leftoids rely on. Leftist thinking sees all problems as being like arithmetic problems -- with intelligence you can reach a one-time perfect answer and move on to the next problem. The Cooper rules show that a gun is never safe -- I actively make my gun safe with my actions, no with a one-time all-solving solution like "smart guns." This is maturity. Societies without this perspective are incapable of maturity.
Christian Stewart
Illinois kinda sucks, lived here my whole life, the corruption in this state is rampant, both at the state and local (Chicago area) level. 19th century machine politics still exist here and most politicans are crooks.
David Williams
I grew up on a ranch with them. Got a .22 when I was 7 and began learning all of the safety rules. As I got older I graduated to bigger calibers. Did 6 years in the military and fired even more of them.
I have had them in my house and used them routinely for 25 years now. Probably shot many thousands of rounds down range. Associated with other gun owners all my life. I still go down to the range every weekend and plink some targets. Why? Because it's fucking fun. It's like playing golf.
Do I have a gun for home defense? Of course. Do I ever expect to use it? Nope I don't live near niggers. I also always carry when I go camping or hiking. Better to have one than not.
A gun is a tool. Nothing more than a chainsaw or hammer. Can it kill someone? Yes. So can a car. Will it EVER kill spook by itself without a human being pulling the trigger or acting negligently? Not in any way I can imagine. Despite a constant lifelong exposure to guns, I have never seen anyone shot, or seen negligent discharge. You own a gun, you follow the safety rules, and that's all. If you are with someone who doesn't follow the rules, you leave.
I don't understand the cucked euro attitude about guns. What I hear the most is the phrase "civilized". As in we are so civilized that we don't need guns. Well if they are so civilized, why are they unable to be trusted with guns? Why does the government have that right and not the people? Seems to me that the governments apparently dont consider their own citizens civilized enough, or they would allow them weapons of self defense.
Funny, I'm actually in London right now. You know who does get protected with high capacity long guns? The politicians. Apparently only the pols are worthy of being defended with quality weapons. The average citizen can fuck off.
It's fucking appalling to be honest. It's right in your face UK brothers. if it's so civilized here, why do the politicians need to be defended like this? and why can't you?
>what is it like to own a gun? I'm just in it for the meat or for making explosions >do you shoot your gun often? I would if ammo was cheaper >do you feel safer when you conceal carry your gun? I don't have a concealable gun so I don't know >how many guns do you have? 1 >how much does having a gun change your life? I eat more and its fun.
Luke Taylor
Hi
Having a gun is pretty neat. It makes me feel safer knowing that there is a lethal weapon in my vicinity that is loaded and that I know how to use.
I'd say at least once every month, I don't like to use up ammo, esp because I'm saving my money for a new comp. Maybe after I get that I'll focus on buying ammo and shooting more often.
While I can't conceal carry (since I'm 19), the state of Tennessee allows you to have a loaded firearm in your vehicle, provided it is legal for you to own that firearm in the first place. So, since it's legal for me to have a Glock 17 (as a gift from my father, same for the ammo), I can have it loaded in my car, ready to go. So yes, I do feel safer knowing if some deranged highwayman comes for my car, I can blow him away if I need to.
Three. A Mossberg 590A1 chambered in 12 gauge, which I keep loaded by my bed; a Mosin-Nagant, complete with bayonet; and a Glock 17 which I keep loaded in my car.
I wouldn't say it changes your life, but it certainly is something you should consider having if you are a sane person that is familiar with local laws and wants to contribute to public safety.
Yeah sure, since we can split the rent, it'd be about $200 a month. I'll put in a good word for you to work at FedEx Ground moving boxes.
Jaxon Harris
1: Guns are fun.
2: at least once a month I go to the range.
3: yes. I have to go to Detroit to work a lot. I'm always packing heat.
4: I own 2 guns. My 357 snub nose and my AKM.
5: not too much, it feels normal owning guns. Might just be used to it.
I hope our Brit bros get their gun rights back someday. You're going to need it when Londonistan tries to act up next.
Sebastian Harris
Hi, Dad.
>what's it like to own a gun
Kind of like any other appliance. It has a purpose and it serves it.
>shoot often
Not as much as used to.
>safer when conceal carry
You bet.
>how many?
Pistols or rifles or things that I would actually carry? I assume you mean ones that are a bit more portable. In that case, two.
>how much does having a gun change my life
Not much, but not having one would make it dramatically different.
If you want self-defense, just carry around wasp spray. It has a great range, fantastic effects, and (should be) legal. If it's not, then a squirt bottle full of bleach and a very bright maglight will also have desired effects.
>Glock 17 which I keep loaded in my car
Don't keep that in your car. Get a Ruger or something to keep in your car; you won't be heartbroken when someone steals it.
James Turner
from what it felt like living in each of these cities in the same state but drastically different political spheres. seattle wa, 1/50 people owned a gun 1/1000 people carried it every day
spokane wa, 1/10 people owned a gun, 1/100 people carried every day, maybe 1/50 had one in the stash box glove/trunk
Tyler Campbell
Maybe I'd be concerned about that if my car didn't look shitty and if I wasn't in one of the friendliest states in one of the friendliest areas.
Since I don't leave my car in strange places, I'd say it's pretty alright in there until I can get another, cheaper, reliable gun to keep in my car.
Adam Scott
Quite normal.
We're up to nine states that don't even require a permit to carry.
Feels good man.

Pretty much this, I didn't grow up on a ranch tho, I grew up in the rural countryside of idaho, was a boyscout, everyone here has guns, open carry pistols just like in old western movies except they are glocks, sigs, S&W etc...
Never hear about gun deaths, except when liberal media splashes it all over the screen about some jigger or mudslides in a big city.

You dont bring your gun or register anything. You walk into the police station, or apply onlne, fill out some paperwork and it comes in the mail. There's no registry. Officially anyway...
Aaron Turner
>If I moved to USA how long til I could own a firearm?
Once your a lawful resident you can buy a gun from a gun store. Though a court ruled that apparently illegals have 2nd amendment rights while in the US as well. But basically if you actually moved here because you got a green card or some other form of legal residency, you could walk off the plane and go buy an AK-47 in 15 minutes.
