China is now the #1 World Economy in real GDP PPP. In the year 2000 it was less than a third of the USA.
Most of the world's production in steel, iron, semiconductors, heavy industry, is now in China. The result of more than 350 years of Western capitalist technological development has been given to the Chinese for free! To a Communist one-party State still hellbent on destroying the West!
China's Communist politburo could wake up in a bad mood tomorrow and decide to re-nationalize all Western industries and factories in China and switch over to arms manufacturing, and there is nothing the West could do about it.
The West has sold its soul to the communists. To a regime that didn't care when 40 million of its countrymen were allowed to die in a man-made famine in the 1950s. To a regime that actively steals Western secrets, develops bioweapons and nuclear underground silos, tunnels and command-and-control centers to this day to wage war on the West.
Don't kid yourselves. China has merely adopted Capitalism out of pragmatism. Just to catch up and steal Western knowhow and industries. The ruling party has NOT abandoned Marxism-Leninism. These are the same people ruling from Mao's era.
How could this great betrayal of the West happen? How were we tricked so easily?

Hmmmm I wouldn't be so rash, China has a lot more heavy industry, if it would set it's mind to it I could change them all to tank factories. There's a real advantage of socialism in war. Stalin just told "there's a factory here were tanks are churned out 100000 per month within two months". Capitalists have to give out weapons contracts and wait until companies give out a bid, only if it's profitable, and it can't break patents. Besides, women in the forces, etc.

You are kidding yourself if you think China will launch at anyone except USA. They can defeat or dominate all other enemies in conventional warfare. Also Russia would have no reason to launch any nukes if the US got nuked.
The most likely type of nuclear war is a pre-emptive first strike by one of the major nuclear powers, and a crippled counterattack to that.

Have you ever been to China? That country has some extremely worrying problems. The health of the nation is pretty bad both physically and mentally because of their education system. For the second richest country in the world it has a long way to go.
Their purchasing power inside China is worthless because they can only buy cheaply made Chinese shit with it. Western goods, which are the most popular, are still incredibly expensive. You know, like baby formula without poison in it.

China is currently trying to stifle a huge depression, but its not going to work on its favor.

Their steel industry is collapsing and so is everything else. They have enough might and control over the flow of information to delay things, but you can see it plain as day among the tertiary companies and nations with heavy exposure to the Chinese economy. They're freaking out.
