Nobody else dies. Slipknot was pushed as an important character and part of the team, but is just a redshirt to show how if the squad try to escape, their heads will be blown off.

Nah it takes half the movie before the squad finally gets to their destination.
First half explains every character (except Slipknot).
By the half point after everyone is explained, they have a scene of a truck pulling in.

Then he has one line, they ride the helicopter, and gets like two more lines and dies.
