He hung himself because he was schizo. His height was just circumstantial. I've known/worked with a couple schizoid and it must be a lifetime of suffering. Like he probably didn't want to do it and was scared about dying but the irrational compulsion of insanity was far worse. Crazy doesnt mean you dont feel anything. It was probably a pretty rough death.
