US Military fags of Sup Forums are the navy seals really our most elite unit or is there something else more advanced than them? I know nothing about the military but I read this guys book in pic relate and it was very good. However he makes it seem like the seals are by far a cut above anything else we have specifically team six.

The devgru team colloquially known as "seal team 6" are the most elite troops from the navy and delta force is the army equivalent. While they both may come from different military branches they answer directly to the department of defense.

Team six has pretty much unlimited funding and unlimited resources. The teams all reason hard and for different things, but six its truly elite. But we could possibly have something else that isn't talked about. I recently just read about PJ's. Pretty intense also

What about the marines?

I could tell you about Team Tango-Foxtrot
Butt hen I'd have to exile myself to North Korea
Or Killary Kilinton will kill me and claim I shot myself in the back of the head twice during my suicide

They have insane stamina when it comes to sex

The marines are the navy's grunts.

It's hard to compare those high speed dudes. There're similar "commando" units in different branches, but they're missions are often different. Green Beret teams often do insurgency/counterinsurgency by working with and teaching the locals. Rangers are light infantry shock troops. SEALS are, nominally, "navy divers" that also do demolition. But they're also trained in counterterrorism and whatever other spooky shit they do. Then there's Delta...other than the fact that they do their own invdividual PT and tend not to wear uniforms or have military hair so they can operate inconspicuously, nobody really knows what the fuck they do.

Of course there're more: Marine Force Recon, Air Force Combat Controllers, and probably more. They all have their own acceptance criteria and training regimen.

All that said, yeah, qualifying as a SEAL is probably the hardest thing to do for anything that has a regular set of criteria.

We have different... for different...

for instance...

TAC-P

i was told they do some spy type shit. father was in the army for a long time, they tried to get him in delta but he noped the fuck out bcuz he had a lower that was also offered and also accepted, was back within a week because the training was too hard for him

Yeah it's funny. People who know only Air Force/Navy/Army/Marines, think Marines are the shit.

That's still just top level shit. It only gets deeper down from there.

Air Force pararescue get more training than seals. Seal training is part of their training.

They usually work alone behind enemy lines to rescue pilots.

I heard something similar, but nothing I was able to confirm.

It's funny how often I hear "Marines are the first ones in". They haven't been for the last 3 wars I was in.

They also get full medical training. They're much smarter than any other special forces.

Since when do Air Force anything go through BUD/S?

Delta is all branches, dipshit. Green beret is the army SF.

Disabled Marine Vet here 100% permanant and total ptsd also took an ied blew my teeth out and vision got fucked up. Force recon is top. They usually do the missions that you dont here about. I took a round in the arm once coming into a place to pick up 4 of them. The shit they do they dont write books about and only hear about years later through ffa.

Bullshit: 18D

biting at bait. every branch has its role. chances are you won't help anybody do anything. so join the coast guard and pretend to be a veteran

How could there even be a most elite force.

Just take the hardest training and make it harder.

Like take navy seal training and just pour tobasco sauce in there eyes.

whoopdie doo i made a new elite force.

Where did you get that picture from it's all kinds of dicked up. Also this question is far to broad to give a straight forward answer to. What's the mission what's the goal what's the purpose you need the special unit. There are different units because they serve different needs. Delta is probably the most undercover unknown group. You want it ultra quiet like it never happened go to them. You just want most bang for your buck kill anything that moves seals. You want to take over a local population and make them part of our fighting force go sf. You want large number and kick door occupy big area and shut any supply's and moments in and out of city go rangers. They all have a purpose they all are damn good at what they do and they all are deadly no reason to worry about it because you will be dead before you know they are really there to kill you. Anymore questions specifically feel free to ask

United States Tabasco Force

Fuck, you all are kind of dumb.
Army=Green Beret
Navy=Seals
Marines=Force Recon
Air Force=Pararescue
Every branch has a Special forces and all do different things. It's like comparing apples to potatoes.
Delta is a combination of all of them, They fall under the command of the DOD not a branch.

i won't vouch for the accuracy of your statement but i used to fuck this girl and her sister sometimes, their dad was a total bro. he was ex para rescue for 20 some years and ended up breaking his back on a jump and was honorably discharged. very smart man and a role model for the time I was with his girls

Yeah but the army has sf, rangers, delta, and SOAR.

yeah right! i got this mf'er right in the face. heard he was part of some US special ops

Or is the most elite force the one who trains recruits the hardest?

Marines?

Or pours the most amount of money into its soldiers (must be air force) (probably some nuclear guy)

Delta is a detachment of Green Berets but PULLS members from all branches.

Marines have MARSOC which are more/less maritime Rangers.

>navy seals
>most elite
kek.

there are groups way more skilled than the military doing missions we don't hear about

Yep, these guys: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tactical_Air_Control_Party

Air Force has Combat Control as well. They embed with Seals and the like.

Anyway I do Like the thread...brb 20 pushups.

praying for the draft.

Umm what? Idk what your even saying. The picture posted is fake and a joke. The information supplied is just clarifying facts

Most elite force is the force who do the hardest work.

Training is just training.

Well since their mission are very much classified how would you like us to know about the work that is done? Also the work each does is different and not easily compared so not sure what way you are grading them but can't be fair

They aren't really needed because they travel with armed drones and spookies anyways.

Those guys usually just chill on a hilltop overwatching the bulk force (bait)

Just join pussy.

Second that motion. No reason to wait. Republicans are in the White House means military is hiring

i was in a mall in Pakistan, there was a team of delta force, they couldn't do anything to stop me and my squad of faithful jihadists

Tacp is the lowest form of spec ops
Tons of washouts from pj cct and sowt go to tacp

Since Nam
Google is your friend

Cub scouts of America

Lol ok bro you have a good night dummy.

This
Blackwater is where all the retired sf guys go to make the big bucks

fuck you you male piece of shit, the Girls Scouts of Amerikwa are the most elite in all of the United States armed forces

...or Triple Canopy if you want to get electrocuted in the shower. kek

CIA

When you can't afford to waste time with the UCMJ

damn daniel

SEALS also pulls members from all branches.

No, it's where want-to-bes go. Triple canopy is where SF and SOCOM go to make money.

>can't even start a lemonade stand in murrica without getting taxed and/or arrested
>girl and boy scouts are rolling out in full force though, selling cookies and war bonds
Murrica

The Girl Scouts just got a restraining order on the President.

Guess they didn't want their 8yo girls getting grabbed by the pussy lol

My bad, I'm no military guy. Just random shift I read in other threads

*wipes grease off side of mouth*
"YEAH BABY!"

You have to rerate beforehand and hope you get a BUDs billet which are rare even for Navy guys. This difference with Delta is you'll be a SEAL until you get accepted where you'll transfer.

Nice dubs :^)

Blackwater and Global were the joke of Iraq. Bunch of bar bouncers, failed cops and want to be operators.

Hahahahah

kek

the president is a pedophile

*wipes greasy mouse with rag*

"YEAH BABY!"

When do u hear about navy seals missions

Pretty much all these answers are wrong. Delta is the most elite and most secretive and best equiped. Seals and green berets are similar in terms of lots of their training however have very different mission specialties. Delta intakes seals occasionally and army green berets very often, however the majority of delta has always come from the rangers. The marines until recently had force recon guys as their top tier (similar 'equivalent to rangers in terms of training time) however developed further many of these fellas into marsoc which is the marines 'equivalent' to navy seals or army green berets in terms of training times. Again though marsoc seals and green berets all have different missions and one of the biggest differences is whos in command. If im not mistaken seal and marsoc answer to socom (as does delta) while army green berets (commonly known as sf) are solely an army card. Airforce pjs do alot of cross training that all the above groups do (ie dive school, sere, etc) but are medical specialists as a whole. All these units and groups are all badass but do very different jobs.

go to a book store. They take a shit and write a book about it.

thaats odd, my father was nothing more than regular infantry. but he was invited into delta force, is that possible at all?

Marines first to fight. Rangers lead the way.

>tfw somebodies lying

About every 6 months when some fuck in Hollywood tries to cash in on another movie.

Marines weren't the first on the ground in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Forgot link youtube.com/watch?v=wKMPAOGIA7I

Possible yeah
Likely , not at all

Its possible yer dad was invited but selection is constantly changin and i couldn't accurately speculate

"eliteness" isn't really an objective thing. Each unit has it's own specialties. The US Navy has the SEALS, US Army has Delta Force. Russia has the Spetznaz and The UK has the SAS etc. There are some overlapping specialties but most of them have at least one unique specialty that the governments call upon as needed.

This is what's hardest within each branch
What one is the hardest is not easily answered, all have different goals and missions
Ask away probably the only operator here

Army
1. Delta
2. Sf
3. Rangers

Navy
1. Seals
2. Swicks

Air Force
1. Pj
2. Cct
3. Sowt
4. Tacp

Marines
1. Raiders (formerly known as force recon

Wrong

>Ask away probably the only operator here
>only operator here

Doesn't know it's "SWCC" not "Swicks".
Go fuck yourself.

I would put delta force above the seals. They are way cooler in my opinion.

Yea a public transportation operator Fuck off

Some random DB Airman here, look no further than para-rescue. I'm not being disrespectful when I say its 9-11 for the seals, cause the seals have called us before. Really you wanna know our elites, make a trip to Moody AFB.

kek

Implying your normal Sup Forums autits could figure that out
Also not a navy bro

though maybe they wanted someone who was good with M1s, i know in the late 80s he was one of only few other guys who were master diagnosticians on the M1 Abrams

Who else? Just your average 180 APFT scoring shitbag 88M who enlisted in the National Guard for education benefits and a fucking keychain.

in general there are Navy SEALs, Army Rangers, Airforce Special Operations, and Marine Raiders.
There's actually many more and joint operations like Delta and SOCOM, but the brass tacks is they're all tryhards who want to be welfare queens till retirement cause they have no marketable skills outside a PMC.

The various known elite military troops are about equal, each slightly specialized in their purpose.
The Navy Seals just brag the most and loudest.

And they're generally cowboys getting killed a lot

Anyone who thinks anything other than a temporary team like this is wrong

>Who else? Just your average 180 APFT scoring shitbag 88M who enlisted in the National Guard for education benefits and a fucking keychain.

my man

No, SEALS are hardcore dont get me wrong, but they are NOT the most elite, there are many more SEALS out there than you think and many of them dont see combat just like any other group in the military. They are great when it comes to high profile media cases, but there are plenty of groups who do either the same caliber of operations or better but just arent in all the movies.

...

Nice. I'm going to Officer Candidate School in September
