Im rather supprised that nobody has mentioned turn the page. Generally speaking i dont really like metallica, mostly due to lars, but that is one of the best covers of a classic track ever made

Anyone remember how fucking hard guitar hero Metallica was on expert?
The Black album was okay. It wasn't on the level of their previous works, but it wasn't a bucket of shit like everything after. I can't fault you for not liking it, though, because it was definitely the downturn point for them. It's just that their fall accelerated so much faster after the Black album when Hetfield injured his vocal cords and had to start trying to sing since he couldn't growl anymore. I still have the Black album (somewhere) but seriously haven't listened to it since the 90's, unlike all of their earlier work.

Metallica is a good group in general. They've had their real shit moments but hey, all bands do at some point.
