>Lostprophets
God damnit, Ian.

the white stripes is the only one that belongs on this list

Three Days Grace

Literally none of those

I'll start

Good Charlotte for fucks sake I still love them

Chevelle

Yellowcard

>Lostprophets
MEGA LOLZ

Radiohead

Jimmy Eat World. If you erase The Middle, they are top tier. I'm sad Higher Devotion isn't their most popular song

Breaking Benjamin
Dillinger Escape Plan

Don't give a shit about this boards' bias complex.
>Glassjaw
>Deftones
>Trust Company
>Alexisonfire
>Thrice

Sevendust
Distrubed
Breaking Benjamin
Chevelle
Linkin Park

AFI

Literally was writing it.
Uhm, RHCP? I like Stadium Arcadium desu.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Metric aren't normie stuff but I will put them here, because for me they don't have a bad album (maybe besides Mosquito)

>Lostprophets
How could one person destroy the only emo band I liked?

What was up with that weird wave of rock like Modest Mouse and shit that was big for like a year? That shit was gay as fuck.
Also.... what happened to these guys?

>>Blink182
ehh
>>Papa Roach
>>Lostprophets
>>Linkin Park
no
>>The White Stripes
1

no

This.

AFI - Sing the Sorrow was a godtier album.

This is "literally" their only good album.

>the 00s

the day the music died

I bought this the day it came out.

then I stopped listening to rock music.

I traded my cd for 1/8 of soapbar

Third Eye Blind's S/T was alright

My Chemical Romance
Gorillaz
Bright Eyes (though they were more 90's)

This

It's all so subjective, but anywhere from 1996-2008 is very arguable.

Incubus

I meant to reply to you with "This". Sorry i'm baked af

Deftones
Rage Against the Machine
System of a Down

All those bands are shit though OP

Fall Out Boy

Arcade Fire

S-some of Hollywood Undead' s-songs...

>A side full of catchy songs
>B side has some more depressing stuff
Its pretty good

eat a dick

s-sorry

S-s-stu-utt-tering o-over t-t-t-text.

Stop

rude tbqh

It was an conspiracy to frame him

blink 182 is fucking atrocious

The Middle is essential Pop Punk JEW. What's your problem, only know them from angsty Futures?

n-no :3

The all-american rejects
American Hi-Fi
Less than jake
Riverboat Gamblers
Zebrahead
Sum 41
Blink-182

True, I have no idea why people praise TC&TS over s/t

all-american rejects
their first album was flawed but showed so much potential
second album was also pretty good
after that they kind of fell off

new single is pretty decent though w/cool music video

Dare I say... Franz Ferdinand and The Killers
I just prefer songs like Night Drive or I Will Steal You Back. Also, A Praise Chorus > The Middle

>zebrahead

this desu, brilliant fun to watch live as well

Mein negger.

:^)

>Modest Mouse
>Franz Ferdinand
>The Strokes
>The Sounds
>The Hives
>The Darkness
>Jet
>The Killers
>The Vines
>The White Stripes
>Coldplay
>Fountains of Wayne
>Yeah Yeah Yeahs
>Shiny Toy Guns
>AFI
>Metric
>The Ting Tings
>Kaiser Chiefs

I only found this out recently, pretty surprising cause even normies only know them as that band that wrote "Valerie"

Forgot image

Spotted the gay guy.

Fuck Sup Forumscore, I love like 10 bands listed here, with Metric being on 1st place.

Who Killed The Zutons was a superb album desu

Also, I don't know about the US but here in Poland I feel like I'm the only one listening to Metric and Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Mayday Parade
All Time Low
Secondhand Serenade
DCFC
Jacks Mannequin
Taking Back Sunday
The Used

Metric has (had?) a decent following in Canada. They're on their way to becoming dad/mom rock though. Everyone involved in bss is.

Literally never made an album below a 7/10
Full Collapse and War All the Time are classic.

...

Nah brah, I was just in high school from 2004-2008.

I remember buying their first CD at a yard sale back in like '05, and I still play it almost daily in the car

Swing, Swing is fucking great

You now remember when Green Day tried to grow up with Warning and almost fucked up their career

I was 2002-2006. Your ilk disgusted me.

YOUR COFFIN OR MIIIIIIIINE

And pray tell what did you listen to?

I saw Alkaline Trio live and the singer burst into tears and had a breakdown on stage. Dunno if that was part of the act or what.

No Limp Bizkit until now?

What the fuck?

Audioslave

Tegan and Sara

Dude, your class was listening to 311 and Sublime and spiking your hair and wearing big baggy jeans. You guys were fags.

I used to listen to all those pop punk bands on Epitaph and Fat Wreck Chords and always went to see them when they played my city. Fun times, I regret nothing.

Three dollar bill had a couple good songs at most, I really like Counterfeit, but's that really the most you could probably say about them. $3 probably wasn't even a good album.

Anything after and including Significant Other is low tier.

Aside from whats mentioned and pic related, probably Panic!, and dinosaur Jr

don't lie, you love Nookie like everyone else

probably because the word popular was used...

Radiohead
Nine Inch Nails
The White Stripes
Boards of Canada
Arcade Fire
Bjork
Belle and Sebastian
Aphex Twin

The Flashbulb
U-ziq
Squarepusher
Helios
Autechre
Literal robot bepbop noises

the ting tings were fucking shit, they were honestly so brain numbingly putrid i used to have to kick a wall so the pain of my foot would drown out that girl singers disgusting mouth noise

Won't lie, I used to, but Fred Durst's fucking lyrics are so cringe to me now it's ridiculous.

I sometimes think Durst is simultaneously the best and worst thing to happen to Limp Bizkit ever like some Schrodinger's cat shit or something

Limp Bizkit is literally the embodiment of the 00's

>At the Drive In
My man

yes

no

WHat's it with all those punk/hardcore bands coming back after their magnum opus?

Flashbulb is normie tier?

Spikey hair and baggy jeans are better than Nazi Youth hair and skinny jeans

giga normie tier. My mom won't shut the fuck up about flashbulb this, flashbulb that

Caught them supporting the Cribs about nine or ten years ago, can confirm they were shit before they hit it big.

Only if you're fat and brown

Eh. Kinda like that kid that is "enlightened" by music and has to tell you how deep his tastes are. Also Flashbulb is pretty fucking cringy usually.

Well....I am brown....not fat though.

Coldplay
Snow Patrol
Keane
Starsailor
Embrace
Travis
Franz Ferdinand
Bloc Party
Foals
Maximo Park
Kiaser Chiefs
Editors
Arctic Monkeys
Kibgs of Leon
Kasabian
Klaxons
The Black Keys
White Lies
The Killers
The Horrors
The Rapture

LB were absolutely huge no doubt about it. I know far too many people with a cd of Sig.Other/Chocolate Starfish and I'll even go out on a limb and say that isn't False Consensus effect. They basically rode the huge nu-metal wave that kicked off around that time.

That's a shame because I remember really loving quite a few songs off of Hardscrabble when it came out.

I don't think Coldplay realy belongs on this list because their music is super derivative and nowadays is just written by label execs based on whatever is in vogue at that point in music.

youtube.com/watch?v=wBUIbOmBdWA
God Tier 00's pseudo punk buttrock coming through.

I watched their performance at Woodstock, and that shit didn't age well.

>nazi youth haircut

Not in 2004-2008 my dude. We all had long unkempt skater hair. The skinny jeans just started and they were way cooler back then.

Dunno but it's getting annoying. AtDI even had Marz and Sparta to make cool shit with. Same with Modest Mouse imo. Should have stuck to Ugly Casanova.
