I'm too lazy to post a top 10 i love portaits in jazz, time remembered and alone from bill evans, he's my favorite jazz pianist, too bad he died "young"
This is a shitty general.
What are y'all listening to?
Jazz-wise, I'm currently enjoying a record by Russian jazz drummer Oleg Butman - Passion (2009).
Earlier I heard Espen Erikesn Trio - You Had Me At Goodbye (2010), enjoyed it enough to download the other two albums; and Kenny Barron - Landscape (1986), also really good; also Nyctophiliac - Ill Side of Town, which is more like dark jazz+beats/instrmntl hip-hop+ambient.
Black Saint is the only 10/10 Jazz album.
#1-10
Heh
>Black Saint
>Cowboy Bebop
Jesus christ, more plebs who actually don't into jazz.
Don't be a fucking elitist.
Everybody starts somewhere. Rather than that, recommend them where they might find something to further their jazz horizons, or something like that.
People like you are the reason no one wants to like jazz anymore.
And it's even worse on /classical/, trust me these guys are the incarnation of shitposting
>Gna gna my composer/recording/era/instrument is better than yours because X
>Oh you like the ode to joy? What a fucking pleb that you are.
