I've been looking for a new sitcom to watch.

I tried Cheers at first but the romantic aspects of it put me off. I figured I might try skipping to season 3, or to the season when the main chick leaves.

Then I tried Fraiser and it isn't that its bad, it just feels so weird to watch. Like the show was started in the 90's and I was alive when the show started airing but it feels like it might as well be another universe.

I literally get an erection every time Roz speaks though.

I'd like to be a Dad like Frasier, see the kid once a year.

It is a gentle comedy with cosy settings and people don't yell out catchphrases.

I identify with Frasier a lot.

Is that bad?

I think it's so comfy because it has the 90s graininess, HD isn't comfy at all.

It is comfy, A lot of the characters have nice voices (Fraiser, Roz, Niles, Martin)

I was rewatching this recently and one neat thing I noticed is the view from Frasiers apartment. The Seattle Space Needle is in the background, but it's positioned in such a way that it's behind a column in the middle of the room (the one behind martins chair). So the needle is always there but you can only see it in specific shots, it's hidden in the default shot of the apartment. Kinda cool.
