I just finished the first two season of this, so what does Sup Forums think about it?

Its campy and cheesy, but really well made and a lot of fun. Decent acting, some great characters, fair bit of action and gore.
I love it, makes a nice change from cop drama and medieval tits n dicks snore fests.
Shitty but fun.
Guilty pleasure.
Its not good, but its better than most of whats on these days
Hmm, the only thing that triggered me is how the qt got killed because of the child.
it's entertaining as fuck
That big ass Master was pretty fucking cool, was rly bummed when he switched bodies.
I want to throw that kid off a building he is such a fucking little fag
Eichhorst and rat guy are the only likeable characters.
Vaun and Quinlan are likeable.
Stopped watching halfway through the first season. Does it get better?
Stopped watching after the tacticool friendly vampires showed up. It was shitty but watchable before that.
>this Quinlin nigga that is straight out of Blade
people are about to get fucked up this season
>Stopped watching after the tacticool friendly vampires showed up.
Haha, the episode they showed up is the last one I saw.
I used to like rat guy because I like the actor but his role has been pretty meh so far. Eichhorst and Quinlan are the only reasons to keep watching this tripe. I wish the Master had a bit more screen time.
>gets the blonde girl in his rape/feeding dungeon
>doesnt do anything to her
dropped
It's great. Although the kid is annoying and the hacker lady is cringy as fuck
Fet is based as fuck
The old guy is great though. Efrham and his whole retarded family are the worst.
the 3rd season is kinda boring; i'm not sure I'll continue to watch it
This most recent season has started out very good so far
no
What does Quinlan want with the Lumen? Why is Eph willing to doom the entire human race to save his retarded son?
Did you watch the leaked episode?
Quinlan doesn't care about anything but killing hte Master. The other guy is just a shit character dragging the show down like most characters on it.
>Stopped watching after the tacticool friendly vampires showed up. It was shitty but watchable before that.
you gotta tune back in, because they get rekt in a really awesome way.
I think Quinlan just wants it because the master wants it.
Also eph is just as stupid as the rest of his family, so that shouldn't surprise you.
>The other guy is just a shit character dragging the show down like most characters on it.
The sad part, is he's the main character. They really want you to sympathise with him, and care about his fambily. I just wish someone would tell him to put his Mauser in his mouth, it's okay he checked it and it's unloaded.
Wasn't expecting much from it, but I like it. I miss the interactions between Setrakian and Eichhorst.
They fucked up on Zach's character.
Season 1 he was just a scared kid, slowly getting smarter and getting used to the fact that the city went to shit.
From season 2 until now, he is just a dumb little cunt who can't stop whining.
they made him body jump early because people though the make up looked silly
He was still more intimidating than the new guy. Despite his goofy look
>he didn't see the pineapple scene
Quinlan is pure Marty Stue, actually boring character
dont forget gratuitous latin and archaic names for things
He doesn't have a penis
>Its campy and cheesy, but really well made and a lot of fun.
This. I could pick out 100 things wrong with the show but it is entertaining enough to overlook all of the flaws. The backstory is really good.
Does anyone know why they switched actors?
Is this The Strain? How good is it? I'm a big Star Trek fan so I'm okay with suffering through some shitty episodes if it gets good later on.
It's the shit I put on when I'm really focused on my computer.
It's "so bad it's good" in the b-movie horror kind of way. It's silly and schlocky and doesn't take itself too seriously, and while season 2 drags a little because of some relationshit drama for the most part it's a pretty fun show.
The best thing it's got going for it is the production value, the effects, the sets, the lighting, the cast, etc are all pretty top notch.
According to the showrunner, Zach was going into a "darker" and angrier path, because he has to accept that his mother turned into a strigoi... so they decided to switch actors, basically saying (in a nice way) that the previous actor wouldn't be able to deliver what they wanted.
Like I said, they fucked up. Doesn't make sense to the development of his personality on s01.
It's one of those shows that are better to binge in one sitting, that way you won't think too much about some of the more stupid plot points.
Where the fuck is his nose?
Agree 100%. I am waiting for S3 to finish before watching.
It keeps getting worse. Decent episodes are rare. Not really worth watching unless you don't have anything else to do.
I'm surprised it's never gotten any vfx noms, the cgi is generally flawless
I liked the old Master better tbqh
Daily reminder that they made a ridiculous music video
Seriously. Having the next master be some goth rock band fag was so disappointing. Other than eichorst I do know who else it should have been but that guy was a horrible choice
