Very nice pick, love that. An underrated gem.

perfect album imo

...

Yeah, i was going to post that.
I'd recommend some QOTSA album, although they are way longer, they have a great pace and don't feel stretched out at all.
Also, metal is welcome, as long as it's fast paced. Speaking of which

Still a GOAT album

under 40 is best format
concise and classy

i downloaded this a while back but have never sat down to listen
why is it gd ?

I usually tend to avoid longer albums, simply because I practically lack the time to sit and listen. It means that if I ever listen to an whole album, it happens to be on my car stereo. Again, this means that I can hardly enjoy albums like TBK or other stuff over 60 minutes, unless it has a fantastic pace. Like SFTD or Ace of Spades or Yes - fragile or sunbather. It kind of sucks, because it means I don't get to experience more complex albums.
Hence why I look for shorter albums

Because of the bass player mainly. Every album of theirs is different and they are all worth listening to. Imagine post punk with harmonicas, sax and Primus inspired bass playing. That's just one of their styles.

Classic

Oh, their debut album also resembles to a degree.

venom - welcome to hell

You can split the albums in two parts you know

Technically

...

Yeah, but it's just not the same. Sometimes even days pass between each listening session, if you can call it that. Imagine listening to She Loves Us but abruptly cutting the song mid listen. It sucks, doesn't it. I guess I am the biggest problem in this case, and it doesn't help that some albums I don't really appreciate, or I find that they have some boring section. It happens a lot with Pink Floyd albums, believe it or not. Same goes for folk rock, but that's definitely me not liking the genre.
Ironically, I'm running out of sub40 albums to post here, lmao. Cut it 2 minutes shorter and you got it

...

Been rinsing this album as of late, it's bloody excellent

Did you not read the rules of this thread?
NO BEATLES ALBUMS NO MATTER HOW GOOD! (And Revolver is one of my favorites.)

...

Not a lot of hip-hop here

...

This is a forgotten classic.

Actually OP posted that, sorry I did that.
New album sounded good, too bad they suck. Like Primus suck

Post more then, I'm looking forward to it.
I guess Illmatic is next, but that record is already too well known.

...

Surprised nobody posted this yet

NOBODY WANTS TO DIE, NOBODY WANTS TO DIEEE

No punk rock in Minneapolis/St. Paul in 1978?

This album kick started the scene there.

...

Because The stooges are the first that come into mind. Someone posted fun house, it kinda goes without saying. Same goes fir almost every punk rock album ever. Thanks for sharing tho.

Under 30 minutes would have been a challenge

Good one. I'd have picked My War, but it's :25 too long to make the cut.
