(and it's not for the reason you may think)
It dosent show the theory behind the notes
What if you already know the theory?
>guitarist for 10 yers
>still haven't learned to read notes and suck ass at playing by ear
a-at least I can play Canon Rock
>when you go from standard tuning to alternative tunings then back to standard
>using sheet music to anything but classical
>yes, I use sheet music when learning a new guitar song why?
Obviously spaces are better.

We can all agree his best video is Great Value Purified Drinking Water vs. Spring Water, right?
>dumb tripfag doesn't know my average day
I hate tabs. I would have learned guitar by now if tabs weren't so widespread.
I've seen 'em. They are 2long4me desu
His average day videos are comfy as hell. That said, most of Reviewbrah's videos are comfy. He's got a professional yet laidback style. No loud music intro, no sound effects, nothing tacky like that.
People can laugh at him if they want but I hope he finds continued success in his life.
There's a vocal minority of autistic shit guitarists who hate them
lol
Nice!
kids who took music class in high school are pissed off that they could've just been using tabs the whole time

Wow, I never thought I'd see a screenshot from Andrei Rublev used as a reaction image on Sup Forums. Quality film taste, user.
Sightreading is when you perform a piece of music for the first time without having ever seen it before. It's not the same thing as reading notation.
There's nothing "wrong" with it, it's just inferior to reading music in a lot of ways. You can communicate more precisely what something should sound like using notation, so your music will have more depth and precision than if you read tabs.
It's like watching a foreign film with subtitles rather than speaking the language of origin. You'll get the gist of what they're saying but it's an inferior version of the film.
