guns are great and we'd all be better armed protected if everybody had it vs the police and criminals.
the reasons for guns is also good to ward off tyrannical governments, but a problem is the lack of fitness, knowledge of warfare, survival, medical and charisma would make all of these null and void, the environment we live in now rarely requires any of these to be used on a daily basis as a result our civilan population is far less likely to win a war with the goverment due to the lack of knowledge and technology
with that being said if you take away our guns then where open to invasion and a shift in goverment control but we would fair far worse off than our forfathers ever did
