This list needs some serious work.
1) I'm not standing up for Pitchfork, but they're undoubtedly better than Rolling Stone because basically everything is better than Rolling Stone.
2) Christgau doesn't belong belong next to Rolling Stone either. He has a bad tendency to underrate good if not great albums, e.g. Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, but he's got a very deep understanding and love of music.
3) Scaruffi doesn't belong in anything above the okay tier, and that's on a good day. He doesn't provide good criticism because he rarely cares about anything beyond how experimental an album is, and in the rare cases that he does adventure outside of that realm he ranks Korn's debut as one of the best metal albums ever made.
4) No mention of the Quietus, TinyMixTapes, Slant, Drowned in Sound, etc., for better or worse.
